Tension between castmates is nothing new on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” But for Amanda Frances, watching the season back sparked a reaction she did not expect.
Speaking on Carlos King’s “Reality with the King” podcast, Amanda Frances opened up about her dynamic with Rachel Zoe.
She said the experience left her more unsettled than she initially realized. What looked like a cordial relationship on camera felt different once she saw the full season play out.
The Amanda Frances and Rachel Zoe RHOBH dynamic has become one of the more unexpected tensions of the season.
“Rachel was nice to my face 100 percent of the time,” Frances explained. “She never said one negative thing, one skeptical thing, one questioning thing… until the reunion.”
That disconnect is what ultimately stuck with her.
Watching It Back Changed Everything
GettyFrances said the shift came after watching her own interviews and scenes. She realized a different perception of her was forming behind the scenes. As she processed those moments, the emotional weight of it became clear.
“I found out she didn’t like me from watching the show,” she said, growing visibly emotional during the conversation.
When Carlos King asked why that realization hit so hard, Frances didn’t hold back.
“To find out someone who the whole world looks up to is looking for the worst in you… that sucks, basically.”
It was a rare moment of vulnerability for the franchise. Frances’ reaction felt quieter, but no less pointed.
A Different Kind of Housewives Conflict
Unlike the explosive confrontations the series is known for, this tension played out more subtly. The Amanda Frances and Rachel Zoe’s RHOBH storyline unfolded without major on-screen blowups, which made the revelation more surprising.
Frances suggested the issue may come from a disconnect, not outright hostility. She even questioned whether Zoe was trying to find common ground in the wrong way.
“Maybe it’s a little group thing. I don’t know,” she said.
That uncertainty adds another layer to the dynamic, leaving viewers to interpret whether the tension was intentional or simply a misalignment between two very different personalities.
Where Things Stand Now
Despite the emotional moment, Frances did not suggest there has been any direct resolution between the two. The conversation instead highlighted how much of the Housewives experience unfolds after filming wraps, when cast members finally see the full picture.
The situation has also sparked reactions among fans, many of whom are now revisiting earlier episodes to look for signs of the disconnect Frances described.
With the season continuing to unfold, it remains to be seen whether the two will address the tension head-on or let it linger beneath the surface.
Either way, Frances’ comments add a new dimension to the storyline. The focus now shifts from what was said on camera to what may have been felt all along.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Thursdays on Bravo and streams on Peacock.

Aaww…boo-hoo little girl. Get over it!!
As Boz says ….Pinocchio….lie much ?
Watch the whole series miss “entitled”!!! You are the most entitled immature “brat” that I have ever watched on ANY reality show!!!!
Amanda is pretty pathetic. How hypocritical that she feels looked down upon but she’s constantly looking down on others.
