Gia Giudice has been a staple on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” since her mother, Teresa Guidce, began appearing on the show. Now, the “Next Gen NYC” star is opening up about rewatching the iconic Bravo show and her viral ‘waking up in the morning’ musical moment.
Giudice took to her official TikTok account, saying, “Guys, I’m rewatching New Jersey from the beginning, and I don’t think I’ve genuinely watched the full episode of when I sang ‘Waking up in the Morning.”
She then reflected on the viral clip that made its way into RHONJ. Giudice continued, “And I feel so bad for her. I feel so bad for her, but listen, waking up in the morning did solve some things, and now everyone’s together, but holy moly do I feel bad for that little girl.
I didn’t realize how much I was crying and how much I cried after “Waking up in the Morning” and during “Waking up in the Morning.” I feel so bad for her, and I’m so happy that she’s not sad anymore. I really loved her so much.
Gia Giudice Recently Opened Up About Her Family Reuniting with the Gorgas
Giudice alluded to her mother reuniting with her uncle Joe Gorga and aunt Melissa Gorga when she said, “everyone’s together.” Recently, she opened up on Jeff Lewis Live about how the reconciliation came about.
While on the show, she stated that her mother had reached out to Gorga first. She explained, “It was like after ‘Special Forces’ and after our interview with you. You talked some magic.” From there, Lewis confirmed that he did have a conversation with Giduice about speaking to her brother.
The “Next Gen NYC” star continued, “They didn’t even make their conversations public or anything like that. They met alone at the cemetery first, and it was just them at first- just my mom and her brother.”
According to Giudice, their reunion continued after their initial meeting, and now they’re all on good terms. Notably, the two families spent Christmas Eve together.
‘Next Gen NYC’ Is Returning for Season 2
Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC” premiered in June 2025. In additon to Giudice, the cast included Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Hudson McLeroy, and Charlie Zakkour.
Now, following a successful first season, Bravo has renewed the series, and filming began in October 2025. Based on all reports, the full cast from the first installment of the show will return.
Giudice spoke in October 2025 about the show on her “Casual Chaos” podcast, saying that watching it inspired her to be a better person. According to her, “I need to check myself and be like, ‘All right, yes, this is you, Gia. You’re a protector. You have that mom instinct, but you also need to be a friend, and you can’t always insert your opinion. Not everybody’s like you.’
So that was hard for me to kind of balance… And I loved watching myself back because… I self-reflected, and I was like, ‘OK, now I know how I’m going to be a better version of myself moving forward.'”
