“Next Gen NYC” is getting some serious star power in season 2 — and it’s not just thanks to Brooke Shields’ daughter, Rowan Henchy. While Henchy may have spotted Rowan filming scenes for the Bravo spinoff, Bravo and Cocktails insiders say her famous mom will also appear on camera — alongside several Housewives icons.
Brooke Shields Set to Film With Housewives Royalty
According to Bravo and Cocktails‘ insider report, Shields will join “Real Housewives” stars Teresa Giudice, Kandi Burruss, and Meredith Marks for a dinner scene with their daughters, marking one of the most anticipated crossovers in Bravo history. The insider also revealed that Ariana Biermann’s ex-boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, who was a regular in season 1, will only appear in a guest role as part of their ongoing breakup storyline.
In addition to Henchy, the season will reportedly introduce one or two new cast members, and the show’s sophomore run will be expanded — with at least 14 episodes and a full reunion planned.
Rowan Henchy Steps Into the Spotlight on ‘Next Gen NYC’ Season 2
Henchy, 22, was recently seen filming at a “Holiday Nights” event hosted by cast members in partnership with Urban Outfitters, according to Page Six. The Calvin Klein model and Wake Forest University graduate shares her mother’s striking looks — and apparently, her comfort in front of the camera.
She boasts over 100,000 TikTok followers and has made regular red-carpet appearances alongside Shields at events such as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards. The two share a famously close bond, complete with matching ladybug tattoos (a tribute to Rowan’s childhood nickname, “Little Bug”) and another that reads “and to a party.”
Henchy has also been open about her Type 1 diabetes journey, partnering with Omnipod to raise awareness on Instagram. Her sister, Grier, previously told People, “She knows how not to be stressed by what other people think, which is something I need to learn.”
