Bethenny Frankel’s ex-husband Jason Hoppy is suddenly back in the Bravo conversation after a surprising new report connected him to Sarah Jessica Parker’s inner circle.
According to a post shared by celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi, Hoppy has reportedly remarried and welcomed a child with a woman who previously worked as Parker’s longtime nanny.
“We just learned that Jason Hoppy, after a very long, public and contentious divorce from former ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ cast member, Bethenny Frankel, is now married and has a child with Sarah Jessica Parker’s former longtime nanny,” the account wrote.
The post immediately sparked reactions from Bravo fans because of Frankel’s highly publicized history with both Hoppy and the “Sex and the City” universe.
Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy’s Split Played Out Publicly for Years
GettyFrankel and Hoppy married in 2010 after welcoming daughter Bryn and quickly became one of the most recognizable couples associated with the “Real Housewives” franchise.
Their relationship was heavily featured on Bravo, including in Frankel’s spinoff series “Bethenny Ever After.”
But after separating in 2012, the former couple spent years navigating divorce proceedings and custody-related disputes that frequently made headlines.
Their divorce was not officially finalized until 2021, nearly a decade after their separation.
In recent years, Frankel has occasionally reflected on how emotionally exhausting that chapter of her life became, while also emphasizing how focused she remains on her daughter and building a peaceful life outside of reality television.
Meanwhile, Hoppy has largely stayed out of the public spotlight.
That’s part of why the DeuxMoi report generated so much online attention among longtime Bravo fans this week.
Jason Hoppy’s Reported New Relationship Revived an Old ‘And Just Like That’ Moment
The reported Sarah Jessica Parker connection also reignited conversations surrounding Frankel’s past criticism of HBO’s “Sex and the City” reboot, “And Just Like That.”
Back in 2023, Frankel reacted after the reboot appeared to reference her during a scene in season 2.
In the episode, Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw tells her realtor she repeatedly considered buying homes in the Hamptons. The realtor then jokes, “Was that reason always Bethenny Frankel?”
Fans immediately interpreted the line as a direct nod to Frankel, who famously owns property in the Hamptons and has long been associated with New York social culture.
Frankel later responded publicly and continued criticizing the reboot in multiple videos and interviews, at one point calling “And Just Like That” the “worst show ever.”
Now, with Hoppy reportedly connected to someone from Parker’s personal world, Bravo fans are revisiting the unexpected overlap all over again.
While neither Frankel, Hoppy, nor Parker has publicly commented on the DeuxMoi report, the story quickly gained traction online because of the strange crossover between two longtime New York pop culture circles.
For many fans, it’s the kind of unexpected Bravo-meets-“Sex and the City” twist that feels almost too bizarre to invent.
