Actor Kelsey Grammer is celebrating the arrival of his eighth child, a baby boy named Christopher, with his wife Kayte Walsh.
Grammer and Walsh, who married in 2011 shortly after his divorce from Camille Grammer, already share daughter Faith and sons Gabriel and James.
The “Frasier” star also shares two children with “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, Mason and Jude. He is also the dad to Spencer and Greer from previous relationships.
The news of the arrival was shared during the Monday, Oct. 27 episode of the “Pod Meets World” podcast.
He told the hosts that he and Walsh “just had our fourth one.”
The new addition marks Grammer’s fourth child with Walsh and expands his growing family to eight children in total.
“It was like three days ago,” he added. “Christopher that’s just joined the family.”
Grammer Talks Fatherhood
Grammer, known for his iconic roles, spoke with PEOPLE in May and talked about fatherhood.
He acknowledged past regrets about being less present for his older children.
“I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two,” Grammer told the outlet. “I’m trying to make up for a little of it now. I’m still their dad, so you can always have [a] chance to show up.”
The legendary actor continued how it is to be a parent older in life.
“I probably should have been a little more clear and maybe less tolerant with the older ones,” he added. “I’m pretty tolerant with the young ones, but I’m clear about how there’s certain expectations and certain ways to navigate through a social situation: keep it close to the vest and play it straight, and you’re going to be well-served in your life. I’m a little more specific with them about doing their studies and being prepared. [I tell them], ‘What’s your job in life? Showing up.'”

Grammer’s marriage to Camille was once a central storyline on RHOBH, where the couple’s high-profile split made national headlines during the show’s early seasons.
Since then, both have moved on to new lives.
Camille remarried in 2018 to attorney David C. Meyer. She told PEOPLE at the time how it was to find love again.
“I have been through tremendous heartbreak,” she said. “But I’ve come full circle and out the other side. It’s been a very emotional journey but that only makes me stronger. Through hurt and pain comes growth.”
She added how marrying older in life was very different from her first marriage.
“I was in my 20s when I got married for the first time and now I just turned 50. It’s different,” she continued. “It’s powerful, in an adult way. I understand my emotions and what I’ve been through. It all comes full circle.”
