Production on season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is rumored to be nearing its end, if not already complete. Along with the rest of the RHOSLC cast from season 6, Lisa Barlow is back. Recently, while attending the 2026 American Music Awards, the Bravo star teased the upcoming season, revealing that fans can expect to see much more of her.
The other returning full-time cast members include Heather Gay, Mary Cosby, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Bronwyn Newport. Britani Bateman will also appear as a friend of the show. Reports also say Ashley Quai has joined the group and that a couple of the longtime cast members may have their roles changed for the upcoming season.
Lisa Barlow Says RHOSLC Season 7 Is Different From 6
GettyWhile at the 2026 American Music Awards, Barlow interviewed with US Weekly. Specifically, the reporter asked the RHOSLC fan-favorite what she could tease about its upcoming 7th season. She said, “You know, this season feels so different.”
Barlow continued, “It’s so fresh. It’s so different than the last six.” When asked how the show will differ, she stated that fans will see more of the cast as individuals, “and less in the group dynamic.” After that, she stated that she felt “we were lacking who we are, what makes us who we are at home, and that’s why we come into the group a certain way, and I think you’re gonna get a lot more of that.”
From there, the mom of two discussed change and how the new season will show “layers” with all the ladies. She went on, “For me, I think it’s like I feel like I’m always raw, and I don’t know if it always makes it to the show, and I think this year you’re gonna see who my family is, who I am, what makes me me.”
Barlow added, “There’s so much more than just me in the friend group, and I think you’re going to see a lot more of that.”
Filming For RHOSLC Season 7 Began in March
GettySeason 6 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” concluded in January 2026. Sadly, tragedy struck cast member Cosby as her son, Robert Cosby Jr., passed away on February 23 at the age of 23. Naturally, Barlow and the rest of the RHOSLC cast not only left supportive social media comments, but they also attended his funeral, which was not filmed for the show.
According to PEOPLE, production on RHOSLC season 7 was initially slated to begin the week of Robert Jr.’s passing. However, it was pushed back, with cameras going up in early March. Understandably, Cosby didn’t begin filming with her costars until late March.
So, when can fans expect “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” season 7 to premiere? Based on past trends, it seems likely the show will return before the end of 2026. For context, the season 6 premiere was in September 2025, after filming from February to around June of that year.
Season 5 of the show also premiered in September 2024.
