Bravo is getting ready to celebrate a major milestone. As “The Real Housewives” approaches its 20th anniversary, the network is planning to bring back some major OGs and shake up the casts of some of the oldest series in the franchise.
According to an insider tip shared with Bravo and Cocktails, the anniversary plans are already in motion — and they involve some of the most recognizable names in Housewives history, including NeNe Leakes, Vicki Gunvalson, and Teresa Giudice.
‘Ultimate Road Trip’ Anchors ‘The Real Housewives’ 20th Anniversary
The biggest part of Bravo’s anniversary plans is a new spinoff called “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip.” Andy Cohen revealed the project during the “Ask Andy” panel at BravoCon 2025.
Bravo said the series “commemorates two decades of unforgettable moments, connection, and legacy, while ushering in the next era of Housewives.”
Frances Berwick, Chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted, expanded on the vision in a statement. “For two decades, ‘The Real Housewives’ has amplified women’s voices, spotlighted their ambition, humor, and strength,” Berwick said. “Ultimate Road Trip is a love letter to the women who turned a reality television show into a cultural phenomenon — and the fans who’ve been there for every moment.”
According to Bravo and Cocktails, negotiations are underway with several OGs across franchises. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum NeNe Leakes is reportedly in talks to return through the Road Trip series, a claim Page Six also confirmed, noting the 58-year-old is discussing a comeback with Bravo. Kim Zolciak-Biermann is also expected to be involved.
Filming on “Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip” is expected to begin in January 2026.
Franchise Shakeups Hit RHOC & RHONJ
Bravo is also preparing changes across several core franchises.
Gunvalson is returning to “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” with former RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita potentially joining her if negotiations move forward.
Heather Dubrow is expected to exit the series, a move insiders say makes sense given her current living situation outside Orange County.
Emily Simpson and Katie Ginella are reportedly on the chopping block, while at least one new Housewife is expected to be added.
Meanwhile, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is set to resume filming in 2026 after its extended pause. Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, and Melissa Gorga are all expected back, with early talks underway about bringing Kathy Wakile in as a friend of the cast.
According to the tip, Bravo is also planning Road Trip stops across multiple cities, including Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Miami, Potomac, New York, and Salt Lake City. The finale is rumored to tie into the launch of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” marking the franchise’s next chapter.

This family needs to put all the animosity and anger Aside (talking to you Theresa), there’s no reason you should have ever been jealous or judging anyone), you & Joe, weren’t saints by any means. Joe tried very hard to get along with your Joe, but to be honest he was always hot headed and always needed to poke at your Brother. All your brother ever wanted was for you to Stop being so aggressive towards his wife and kids, the things you Spewed on Social Media was uncalled for and it was Blatant Lies and you knew that.
You not only hurt your Brother and SIL, but you threw your own nephew under the bus 🚌 with your false Accusations and narrative.
