Jacqueline Laurita first appeared on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” in 2009 during the show’s debut season. After stepping away as a full-time cast member following season 5, she returned briefly before ultimately leaving the franchise.
Now, Laurita may be in talks with Bravo once again, but not for a return to New Jersey. Since relocating her family to Orange County, California, she could potentially join the “The Real Housewives of Orange County” cast alongside stars like Tamra Judge and Gretchen Rossi.
Jacqueline Laurita Approached to Join RHOC
Getty“Real Housewives” fans may soon see Jacqueline Laurita make a return to Bravo. Page Six reports that talks have been confirmed for her to join “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
According to the outlet, Laurita has been asked multiple times to join RHOC since moving to Orange County in 2023. However, conversations reportedly picked up after she became neighbors with Jennifer Pedranti, while she and her husband, Chris Laurita, have formed a genuine friendship with Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley.
An offer to join the show as a full-time cast member is said to be on the table, with salary negotiations also in play.
After stepping away from RHONJ season 7, Laurita and her husband, along with their two sons, CJ and Nicholas, moved to Las Vegas in 2019 for work and family reasons, as her parents and brother live there. In 2023, the family relocated to Orange County for Chris’ business, according to Bravo.
While speaking to her former co-star Teresa Giudice on her “Namaste B$tches” podcast (via Bravo), she confirmed the move to the O.C. “I don’t even want to leave Vegas or my family. It sucks. But at least I’m going to a beautiful place.”
She added, “We’re going there because he just expanded his office [and] opened a new place in the OC.”
Laurita Hangs Out With the Ladies of RHOC
Laurita has shown that she’s already formed fast friendships with the RHOC ladies. Looking at her Instagram, she has shared photos hanging out with the likes of Rossi and Pedranti on more than one occasion.
In May, Laurita posted a snapshot with stars Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Pedranti, after the women “bumped into” each other while grabbing lunch.
In December, Rossi shared photos from a fun night out with her husband, alongside Jacqueline and her husband, as well as Pedranti and her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian.
Seeing Laurita already spending time with several of the RHOC ladies would give fans a genuine sense of authenticity if she joined the show, adding a fresh new dynamic that fans would love.
Rossi captioned the post, “It only took two months but I finally got my good east coast friends #RHONJ to hang out with my good west coast friends #RHOC even though my east coast friends live right down the street now from my west coast friends! 😜😂 Lol! Love you guys! Such a fun night with you all!”
The reported full-time cast of RHOC season 20 includes Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Jennifer Pedranti, Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and the return of Vicki Gunvalson. Meanwhile, Emily Simpson, Katie Ginella, and Gretchen Rossi are still “on the bubble,” per Bravo and Cocktails.
