‘Real Housewives’ Alum Says She’s ‘Finally Ready’ for a Bravo Comeback

After two years away from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Crystal Kung Minkoff says she may finally be ready for a Bravo comeback.

During the June 1 episode of her “Humble Brag” podcast, Minkoff addressed growing speculation about a possible return to the franchise and admitted that, for the first time since leaving the show, she’s genuinely open to the idea.

The conversation began when her cohost, Cynthia Bailey, brought up recent online chatter surrounding Minkoff’s future with Bravo.

“Miss Crystal, there is a lot of chit chat on the blogs about a certain Chinese beautiful woman with a podcast called ‘Humble Brag’ with Cynthia Bailey about possibly coming back to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,'” Minkoff’s cohost Bailey, 59, said on the Monday, June 1, episode of their “Humble Brag” podcast. “So, No. 1, can you give us any information about that? And No. 2, would you go back? And No. 3, would you go back in either capacity, a friend or a Housewife?”

Crystal Kung Minkoff Says She’s Ready for the Right Opportunity

Rather than dismissing the rumors, Minkoff acknowledged that conversations with Bravo have continued over the years and suggested the timing may finally feel right.

“OK, so yes, I saw it because my phone was blowing up just being tagged in everything and whatever,” she said. “I’m always having conversations in general at Bravo. Just you know, doing little things here and there. Obviously after ‘Ultimate Girls Trip.’ Would I go back? I always dream about the friend role now. Like, you’ve made that the ideal role. But it just depends on the cast. But yeah, I think I’d be ready. I think I’m finally ready.”

The comments mark a notable shift from the stance Minkoff appeared to have immediately following her departure from the series. While she has remained connected to the Bravo universe through appearances, interviews, and podcasting, she has largely focused on life beyond RHOBH.

When Bailey clarified whether she was “open to either role,” Minkoff replied, “I’m open to a conversation for sure.”

While there is no indication that a return is currently in the works, the reality star made it clear she would at least be willing to listen if the opportunity presented itself.

She Already Knows Which Cast Members She’d Connect With

Minkoff also shared her thoughts on several current cast members and revealed who she could see herself gravitating toward if she ever rejoined the group.

“I have mixed feelings about Amanda [Frances],” Minkoff said. “I know that the chatter out there is like, Crystal and Amanda would be together. … I think because I would be more empathetic to her and understanding. Though, I would just tell her she’s annoying. I would still tell her, ‘You’re being annoying.’ I think I would have to as a real friend. Like, ‘You’re driving me crazy.’”

She also reflected on where she stands with some of the show’s longest-running personalities.

She continued, “I would still obviously be friends with Sutton [Stracke]. Though Sutton and I always fight, so I don’t know how that would go. But, you know, we always make up. We fight and make up. The rest of the cast — I’m good with Kyle [Richards] right now, for sure. I don’t know, I think I’d have to get through stuff with Dorit [Kemsley]. I’ve always liked Erika [Jayne], but I think Erika wants a lot from me. In a good way, but I think I would have to just tell her, ‘This is who I am.’”

For now, a return remains purely hypothetical. Still, for fans who have spent the past two years wondering whether Minkoff’s time with Bravo was truly over, her latest comments suggest the door may be more open than ever.
