Production on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” season 15 has begun after several weeks of speculation. Now, Melissa Gorga and the rest of the cast have been spotted filming scenes for Teresa Giudice’s birthday celebration. This comes after the two exchanged social media pleasantries for the occasion.
The Instagram account RHONJ Obsessed posted footage of the ladies filming on May 19 after it was captured by Looks by Katiness. In the first clip, the cast is seen in what appears to be a restaurant or event space, posing for photos. Naturally, given that it was her birthday celebration, Giudice was in the center. Dolores Catania was at the end, and Gorga was positioned one person from her.
Luckily, the Instagram account listed all the ladies included. Also featured are Natia Rufolo, Vanessa Barrera, Juliette Collazo, Xiomara Laracuente, Deeba Patel, and Malvina Blloshmi.

GettyThe next social media video posted shows Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas, arriving at the party. When they walk in, the crowd is already there, cheering them on. Giudice can be seen kissing her husband before greeting her brother, Joe Gorga. Gorga and Ruelas then hugged one another. In the meantime, Giudice greeted the other ladies.
RHONJ Obsessed captioned the video, “Melissa and Joe Gorga threw Teresa Giudice a surprise birthday party!!!”
Following the two clips, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” fans reacted. One person said, “I love this. I’m not a huge Tre fan, but I am a big fan of family!!!” Someone else noted, “So it was being filmed. Really hoping for the best because I love RHONJ, but I’m super skeptical.”
After that, another RHONJ fan hoped that Giudice and Gorga could maintain peace. They said, “I love this, and I pray they can continue to stay together as a family.”
Lastly, a different social media user stated, “Watching this gave me chills!! I LOVE this for their FAMILY. I know their Mom & Dad are smiling down on them. Love on your people while they’re still here.”
Melissa Gorga Teased Filming For ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’
GettyNBCUniversal, which is the conglomerate that Bravo falls under, held its upfronts on May 11. During it, Gorga was interviewed and shared insight into when filming for RHONJ season 15 would begin.
She said in the clip, “I think we’ve been on pause a little too long. I’m super excited. I might have a little secret, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this or not… we start tomorrow.” She then stated that she was enjoying her last day of “normalacy” before production began.
She added, “The craziness begins. Lots of new faces, so very excited to meet all of the new faces.”
Will Other Former RHONJ Stars Return for Season 15?
GettyThere have been several rumors about older “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast members returning for season 15. This is especially true after both Giudice and Gorga recently followed Danielle Staub on social media.
An insider shot down this idea when talking to RealityBlurb. The insider said, “No one involved has been told anything about any cast members returning, aside from Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores. Some have pointed toward Jennifer Aydin, but that’s not going to happen.”
They continued, “Bravo cannot stand her and is 0% willing to entertain her coming back. She is persona non grata.”
