Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is highly anticipated by Bravo fans. Recently, during a red carpet interview, Melissa Gorga gave an update on filming and shared what she’s excited for viewers to see in her life. Plus, the RHONJ star discussed her reunion with Teresa Giudice.
Gorga and her husband, Joe, interviewed with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea while attending Vulture’s Masterminds of Reality TV event. Luckily, RHONJ Obsessed shared the clip. During the interview, she was asked if filming had begun for RHONJ season 15.
Gorga responded, “No. We did not start yet. We’re… very soon.” He then joked that they aren’t allowed to say anything about when filming will start.
Melissa Gorga Wants To Show RHONJ Fans How Much Her Life Has Changed
GettyThe Gorgas continued their interview, with her responding to questions about what she wants to highlight for fans when the show returns. She said, “I think I want to just show, like, first of all, my kids over the last two years have grown so much.”
Gorga went on, “It’s so crazy. Gino’s about to graduate high school this month.” After that, the RHONJ fan-favorite shared that one of her daughters, Antania, has a boyfriend who is similar to her father.
According to her, “He’s very similar to Joe. I feel like she went and found someone like her daddy. So she’s doing great.”
From there, Gorga stated that she “really enjoyed the two years off,” claiming that it gave her and her family the “space” needed to “talk and work things out.”
She added, “So, I’m really glad Bravo gave us those two years off. I needed a minute.”
Melissa Says She Thinks Bravo Will Get Casting Right
GettyWhile on the red carpet at the Vulture event, Gorga also spoke to US Weekly about season 15 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Regarding the yet-to-be-revealed newbies, she said, “I know that Bravo is going to make the right decision and pick the right women.”
She added, hinting that perhaps casting isn’t complete for the season, “I know that they’re working really hard to make sure that happens.”
Regarding the show, Gorga is hoping for some interesting new househusbands. According to her, “We’re hoping he[Joe Gorga] gets some fun friends. I’m going to make sure they’re good.”
After that, she reflected on returning to filming, saying, “We’ve done this before. We’ve been on this show for 15 years. We’ve been through a lot of different people, and I’m excited about this crew.”
She Wants Margaret Josephs To Return
GettyLater in the interview, Gorga shared that she’d still like to have Margaret Josephs return as a friend of the show.
As fans know, Josephs announced her exit in March 2026, hours before Bravo announced that Giudice, Gorga, and Catania would be the returning cast members.
Gorga said about Josephs, “She’s really great; you can’t take that away from her. She’s great reality TV.”
Regarding Josephs, it’s worth noting that she is rumored to have recently filmed a new reality show for Prime Video. Plus, she was also seen filming with the “Golden Life” cast.
