E! announced “The Golden Life,” an offshoot of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” in February 2026. Now, the network has shared a first look at the series, which features RHONY alums Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon.
E! shared the first look on May 4 across its social media channels, teasing that the show will premiere this fall. The network said in the caption, “It’s all about new beginnings in Palm Beach. #TheGoldenLife premieres this fall on E!”
The preview begins with Lesseps writing a letter, saying, “To our friends in New York City: wish you were here” before giving a wink to the camera, alluding to Bravo’s RHONY.
E!’s ‘The Golden Life’ Is What RHONY Fans Have Wanted
GettyThe first look at “The Golden Life” then continues with a collection of moments from the show, giving fans a glimpse of what they can expect. While it’s hard to judge from a trailer, the show seems to be the perfect blend of what fans loved about older seasons of “RHONY” and something a bit more lighthearted.
First, Bensimon can be seen telling someone not to call her names as Morgan says, “Who said life is all about menopause?”
After that, Medley gives an update, saying, “We’ve been mostly keeping quiet. Things here move at a slower tempo.” She then joked to someone on the cast, “Don’t let a boyfriend get in the way of finding a husband.”
Additionally, there seems to be some tension amid the laughs, including de Lesseps and Singer arguing over a man who wanted to marry them both. This is also the case with Morgan and Bensimon, who seem to have a dramatic moment in the show.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Morgan can be seen opening up about dating younger men. Specifically saying, “I can’t do 22 again, it’s exhausting. I had to teach him everything he knows.”
In the end, Medley says in a voice-over, “The Golden Life premiering this fall only on E!”
The Upcoming Show Will Feature Guests
GettyDe Lesseps, Singer, Morgan, Medley, and Bensimone are the stars of “The Golden Life.” However, it has also been confirmed that a few familiar faces will appear throughout. While most assumed the cast would be limited to RHONY stars, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Margaret Josephs was recently seen filming.
In the portion shared to social media, she appeared to be in conversation with de Lesseps and Medley while on a sidewalk. Of course, it’s unclear how much Josephs will appear or if the scene she filmed will make it into the show’s final edit.
Additionally, de Lesseps recently opened up about the show in an interview with Pedestrian TV. When asked how it felt to have “The Golden Life” picked up by E!, she said, “Oh my God, I mean it just felt like finally, somebody wants me!”
De Lesseps added, “I feel so blessed. We’re going to get some time with Sonja-rita, we’re going to have some time with ‘crazy eyes’ Ramona [Singer], who has become, I’ve got to say, much more of a pussycat these days. I just saw that she saw Bethenny [Frankel]… did you see that the other day?
Bethenny and Sonja… did you see how happy she was? That girl, she was just right? I’m like, ‘What is she doing?’ She was just grinning from ear to ear, just so happy to see the girls. Makes me a little nervous.”
