Beloved RHONY Alum To Join New Show Following Jill Zarin’s Exit

“Real Housewives of New York” has much to celebrate, as several legacy cast members are set to film “The Golden Life” for E! Now, following Jill Zarin’s exit, reports indicate that Dorinda Medley will replace Zarin. This comes as she reportedly still has a show centered on her Blue Stone Manor in the works.

Reports Say Dorinda Medley Was Already Supposed to Join

According to Page Six, Medley will be among the RHONY ladies when they begin to film “The Golden Life.” This report comes one day after the production company behind the upcoming E! series announced that Zarin would no longer be featured.

However, the outlet also states that the plan was to have Medley appear on the show since it was announced, but they intended to reveal her casting closer to its premiere.

It’s worth noting that Page Six first reported that “The Golden Life” was in the works at E! in January 2026. Then, in early February, the network confirmed that Luann de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Sonja Morgan would be part of the yet-to-be-filmed series.

Notably, it will be set in Palm Beach, where most of the cast currently lives. According to Deadline, Andy Cohen previously reacted to the news on his “Radio Andy” show. The host said, “I’m so excited for them. I texted the ladies yesterday. I think it’s gonna be a great show.

I could never root against these women. I absolutely love them. I love them together. So does America. I’m gonna speak for America, and I think it’s gonna be great, and I can’t wait to watch, and I’m happy for them.”

Cohen added, “If you watch The Ultimate Girls Trip that they all did, it was really fun. That felt like kind of a series finale in a weird way. They kind of wrapped it all up, but now they’re embarking on.”

The Former RHONY Star Previously Reacted to the Show

Medley took to her radio show, “Reality Checked,” to react to Singer’s confirmation of “The Golden Life” before it was announced. She said in the clip, “Yes, can’t say much about that. Unfortuantly. I wish I could.” From there, she and her co-host wondered who the sixth cast member Singer mentioned might have been, as all reports had mentioned only five women on the show.

Additionally, Medley cautioned fans that shows take some time to produce, citing her own Blue Stone Manor show, which is in development.
