“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Wendy Osefo has spoken out for the first time since she and her husband were arrested, using her platform to thank fans for their support during this tough time.

Osefo shared two photos on Instagram of her in a long black and white dress, but it was the caption that truly stood out following her arrest.
She took the opportunity to thank everyone for the love and support.
“And through it all, GOD remains faithful. Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever grateful🙏🏾,” Osefo wrote.
And of course, she also shouted out to the “Real Housewives of Potomac,” who have a new episode dropping on Sunday, Oct. 19, which is the same day she shared this post.
This is the first time Osefo has posted since she and her husband were arrested in October on multiple counts of insurance fraud. According to TMZ, she faces 16 charges, including seven felony counts of insurance fraud, while her husband faces 18 counts, including nine felonies, with it all stemming from a home burglary report in 2024.

Andy Reid Speaks Out Following Wendy Osefo’s Arrest
While he admitted “there’s not much that I can say,” after he learned the news of the arrest, he did speak about the RHOP star and what he’s seen from her since she joined the franchise.
“I know nothing of the charges more than you guys do, than what I’ve read. I’m sad about this. I’m really sad about this and Wendy is just, you know, I’m a Wendy fan and she has been a great housewife and a great role model,” he said on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
“She’s always led with education and her solid family values, and so I’m really thinking about her and her family and I’m certainly hoping that this is all some big nothing,” he continued.
