“The Real Housewives of Orange County” stars Tamra Judge and former RHOC OG Vicki Gunvalson have made amends. In a new joint interview with Us Weekly, the reality TV ladies, who have had an up-and-down relationship for years, are celebrating a newfound friendship.
After years of shade, trash-talking, and backstabbing, which were all played out on RHOC before Gunvalson left after 13 seasons, the women came together to give fans a surprising update on where they stand today.
Tamra Judge & Vicki Gunvalson Confirm They’re Back on Good Terms
Getty“The Real Housewives of Orange County” stars Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson are putting their years-long drama behind them. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the women came together to announce that they are back to being friends.
“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs in our 20 years. I always say we’re like sisters,” Judge shared. “It’s that love-hate relationship all the time. I’m talking sisterly love, like, you have little arguments. And then, of course, being on a show together, there’s always ups and downs — especially the type of show that we were on together.”
A major turning point for Judge was when Gunvalson reached out to former “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and Judge’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast co-host, Teddi Mellencamp, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. In an October episode of their podcast, Mellencamp revealed that her cancer was “gone,” although she will continue treatment.
“When Vicki reached out to Teddi and sent her a nice gift, I was like, ‘Vicki’s got a good heart,'” Judge shared.
The Last Time Judge & Gunvalson Spoke Was Two Years Ago
Judge and Gunvalson’s reunion was also thanks to their partnership with FlavCity and their clean, non-toxic instant lattes. In an Instagram post collaborating with the brand, Judge shared how it had been “a long time since Vicki and I have sat down face to face. Two years and a lot of noise, and I think we are both ready to leave the toxic in the past.”
In their interview with Us Weekly, Judge said that when the two finally met, they didn’t spend their time talking about the ongoing RHOC drama, which Judge is still part of. Instead, they focused on what really mattered, their families and personal lives.
Gunvalson then added that it “felt good” to reconnect with her former whoop it up buddy. “I don’t have conflict with friends and relationships. If I do, I try to fix them. And yeah, I’m a fixer. It was weighing on me that Tamra and I hadn’t met, and we got approached by FlavCity and no toxins, and it’s like, ‘We got to do this. We got to meet.” She then shared, “I will fight for peace.”
On Instagram, fans loved seeing Judge and Gunvalson reunite. In Judge’s post, comments included, “Love seeing y’all together! Makes me so happy,” and “My favorite duo!”
