With season 22 of “The Bachelorette” being officially canceled, fans of the show will never get to see Taylor Frankie Paul‘s journey dating 22 eligible bachelors.
But while the news might be a bummer to viewers, it might actually be an even bigger blow to the 22 contestants who vied for Paul’s hearts. After all, they applied for the show, filmed for months on end, and even put their hearts on the line for it never to be aired.
And while some contestants might be understandably upset, one of them is making the best out of it.
Lew Evans Is Teasing Revealing Everything About Season 22
On Instagram, one of season 22’s contestants, Lew Evans, is teasing his followers about what really happened on the show.
“I’m ready to spill the beans on ‘The Bachelorette,'” he said at the beginning of the video.
“What really happened? i’m about to tell you it all because at this point, why not?” he added. “And don’t get me wrong i’ve gone back and forth on this, but I think it’s time.”
At this point, followers might’ve been convinced he was ready to “spill the tea.” “So this is going to be a long one so buckle up because we’re going to start from night one and we’re going to keep going,” he said, before dropping his phone on the ground.
“Sike!” Evans said when he picked his phone up. “Not today, stay curious my friends.”
In the comment section, Paul, who recently returned to social media amid the scandal, showed some support. “Let’s go Lew,” she wrote.
Of course, the rest of Evans’ is filled with Bachelor Nation begging to know more. “I gotta know!!!” wrote one follower. “Lew release the files,” demanded another one.
Evans’ Tease Comes After Taylor Frankie Paul Return to Social Media
GettyEvans’ playful video comes right after Paul’s return to social media on her Instagram Stories. According to Us Weekly, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star returned to thank her supporters.
“Thank you 🙏 to every check in, call, and prayer sent,” she wrote over a photo of a road below large hills covered in trees with the sun shining brightly in a blue sky. She added, “Your unconditional kindness and check in can be someone’s lifeline.”
In a second Story, she shared an image of a table set up with flowers, books and a pen. She also added text, writing that she was “ending every night with gratitude even if it’s just ONE glimmer.”
Following ABC’s cancelation of her season, Paul also spoke out against her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in a statement to People.
“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a spokesperson for Paul told the outlet. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
“There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives,” the statement continued. “Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”
