Taylor Frankie Paul Reportedly Earned Six Figures for ‘Bachelorette’
HuluPaul’s “Bachelorette” contract covered services she had already completed, including filming the full season and participating in promo, TMZ reported, citing a source with direct knowledge.
Per the report, Paul fulfilled her obligations as the lead, including completing production and most of the press tour before ABC and parent company Disney pulled the plug on airing the season. Because of that, TMZ reports she is still receiving her full salary.
While the exact dollar amount has not been confirmed, the outlet reports Paul’s salary falls in the low-to-mid six figures.
To put that figure into context, past leads have earned similar paydays. Fortune previously reported that former Bachelorette Emily Maynard earned $250,000 for her season as the lead. The outlet also noted that many Bachelor Nation stars later build additional income through social media partnerships and lifestyle ventures after the show.
Warner Bros. Discovery, which produces the series, is reportedly responsible for paying Paul.
Why Taylor Frankie Paul’s ‘Bachelorette’ Season Was Canceled
GettyABC and parent company Disney announced the decision to cancel the season shortly before its planned premiere.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said in a statement, as reported by People.
The decision followed TMZ publishing a video tied to a 2023 physical altercation involving Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. According to TMZ, Paul’s 2023 arrest was “widely known by ABC” and the reality star “did not hide any of her past legal troubles from them.”

The statement added that she is “exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”
