Rachel Reilly Targets ‘Bachelorette’ Castoffs for Mystery Dating Show After Cancellation

“Big Brother” icon Rachel Reilly is looking to shake things up in the reality TV dating world—and she may have her eyes set on a very specific group of contestants.

Call it a real-life version of her iconic “Floaters, grab a life best!” moment—because the “Big Brother” season 13 winner is throwing a lifeline to the men left without a show following the cancellation of season 22 of “The Bachelorette,” which was set to premiere on March 22.

ABC’s parent company, Disney, confirmed that the upcoming season starring “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” personality Taylor Frankie Paul would no longer move forward following headlines involving Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

Just one day later, Reilly—who has stepped into the casting world post-“Big Brother”—took to social media with a casting call of her own, specifically targeting the men who were previously set to appear on the canceled season.

“If you were supposed to be on the bachelorette – I’m working on a dating show DM me or email casting.rrv@gmail.com 🥰 let’s get you cast on something fun,” she wrote on X on March 20.

Reilly’s casting call quickly caught attention, as it appears to directly target contestants who may now be left without a show following “The Bachelorette” season 22 cancellation.

While details about Reilly’s new dating show remain under wraps, her outreach suggest she’s hoping to tap into a pool of ready-to-go reality TV personalities—many of whom had already gone through casting, background checks, and filming prep for the ABC franchise.

‘Bachelorette’ Contestants Reportedly Still Under Contract

However, it’s unclear how many of those men would actually be able to participate.

According to TMZ, contestants who were cast for the scrapped season are still bound by their original agreements.

“Our sources say the contracts all the dudes signed are fully in effect for one year … and, they were warned not to speak to the press while under contract,” the outlet reported.

That could make it difficult for those “Bachelorette” hopefuls to jump ship to another dating show—even if their season never made it to air.

It should be noted, however, that some of the contestants are being considered for “Bachelor in Paradise,” TMZ reported. Exactly who, though, is unclear.
