‘The Challenge’ & ‘Big Brother’ Players To Star in Upcoming Christmas Movie

Cara Maria Sorbello and Rachel Reilly, known for their impressive game plays on “The Challenge” and “Big Brother,” respectively, are both going to star in an upcoming Christmas movie called “Mistletoe Mansion,” according to a press release.

‘Mistletoe Mansion’ Information

According to the press release, “‘Mistletoe Mansion’ follows Ava Cleary, who becomes the bachelorette on the reality dating show ‘The 12 Dates of Christmas’ after her overprotective brothers repeatedly scare away potential suitors.” Cara Maria and Rachel will portray the dating show’s hosts, who each have a different approach when it comes to the finale they want for the show.

“While the drama-seeking Cara Maria pushes for a traditional reality TV ending, the romantically inclined Rachel – drawing from her real-life ‘showmance’ with husband Brendon Villegas on ‘Big Brother’ – encourages Ava to follow her heart when unexpected feelings develop between the bachelorette and her talent handler, Luke Sheppard,” the press release explains.

“Mistletoe Mansion” will be directed by Candice T. Cain, who has directed numerous Christmas movies and often works with reality TV stars, according to her IMDb page. She and Cara Maria previously worked together on “A Jar Full of Christmas,” which is available to watch for free on Tubi. Cain also worked with “Big Brother” winner Cody Calafiore on a TV series called “Little Cupid.”
