“The Voice” is kicking into high gear as the competition has moved into the Knockouts. There are some schedule changeups in the mix that fans should be aware of, however. Find out why the show isn’t airing on Tuesdays and when the next new episode is on.
When Will ‘The Voice’ Season 28 Air in November?
“The Voice” started season 28 in September 2025, with episodes airing on Mondays and Tuesdays. Beginning at the end of October, the competition show stopped airing episodes on Tuesday nights due to NBA basketball games airing Tuesdays on NBC.
As a result, “The Voice” started airing two-hour episodes on Mondays.
The schedule is shifting once again, with a new one-hour episode on Monday, November 3, 2025, beginning at 9/8 p.m Eastern time. The November 10 episode of “The Voice” also begins at 9 p.m., as they continue the Knockouts.
Due to the NBA basketball schedule, “The Voice” won’t have another Tuesday night show until the finale on December 16.
NBC reports that the Knockouts will air every Monday and end on November 24. There will be two nights of Playoffs, airing at 9 p.m. Eastern time on December 1 and December 8.
The season ends with the two-night live Finale on December 15 and 16.
‘The Voice’ Judges Get to Use a ‘Mic Drop’
Each of the coaches, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, and Niall Horan, can use a special Mic Drop button for one of their Artists. The four lucky Artists will compete for America’s vote, with the winner getting to perform in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.
“I’m anxious to see who’s gonna get that top notch performance that deserves it,” Snoop Dogg told NBC Insider. “Because I got a couple people that could get it, but they just gotta prove it.”
Bublé noted, “My Mic Drop will be used for the most incredible performance on my team.”
There’s also some “Wicked” fun in the mix, as “The Voice” teased “a Monday surprise.”
In a November 3 Instagram post on the show’s account, “SNL” star Bowen Yang appears to cross paths with “The Voice” coaches.
Yang welcomes them to Oz, then attempts to audition for the coaches. “Our two worlds have collided, so that I can realize my lifelong dream — of auditioning for you all,” he tells them.
Sadly, he doesn’t get a single chair turn for his take on the “Wicked” song “For Good.”
