Courtney Love revealed a scary health crisis she endured in 2019. The Hole singer shared a post on Instagram about her troubling experience. Love, 62, says that doctors told her she might not have much longer.
Love also provided an update on her next record. The performer’s only solo album remains 2004’s “America’s Sweetheart,” while her last release with Hole was 2010’s “Nobody’s Daughter.” In her update, Love detailed the “record [she] always wanted to make.”
Courtney Love Was Given A Grim Medical Warning
In the caption of her post, Courtney Love says that she wants “to tour more than anything.” However, she also talks about keeping her “soul & body” happy. To this end, Love talked about the medical issues she has faced over the years, specifically in 2019.
“A lot of you asking on my record is at. It’s done. It’s kind of been done. It’s a really good record. I put a lot into it,” she said on Instagram. “I went to England in 2019, and when I went there, you know, my body just exploded. It just exploded, and I was in hospitals a lot.”
Love credits her resilience for refusing to accept the doctors’ verdict. Speaking further, she said her refusal to believe them “somehow” made her get better. She also described her current health status as “healthy” and “amazing.” Love is a fairly regular user of social media, putting up pictures and videos of her life with family and friends.
The singer and actress never revealed the exact cause of her then-failing health. However, she acknowledged that she deliberately “wasn’t public about being sick” at the time. The intent behind her post was to update fans on her health and the record she has planned.
