Taking to Instagram Stories, Snow shared a rare photo of the pair from their time on the series. In the sweet photo, Snow smiles as she cradles a young Panettiere in her arms, while the late star plants a kiss on her cheek.
“I was lucky enough to play your sister for 3 years,” Snow began her caption. “I related to you so much in many ways. Ways that I never even told you.”

Snow continued, “Your talent was remarkable and so was your determination to be a bold, bright shining light. And you were.”
“Always supportive, curious, funny and brave. You will always be remembered undoubtedly for your undeniable strength and spirit,” she concluded.
According to TV Line, Panettiere made her debut on “Guiding Light” in December 1996, when she was just 7-years-old. She starred as Lizzie Spaulding and worked on the soap until 2000. Snow would star as Panettiere’s stepsister, Daisy Lemay.

GettyAccording to the BBC, although Panettiere revealed in her “This Is Me” memoir that her early career meant she “lost the chance to have a normal childhood, friends, relationships, and my privacy,” she also looked back fondly on her time working on “Guiding Light,” describing it as a positive experience during her childhood.
“It’s such a pivotal time from 4 to 12-years-old, and that is the time that you remember throughout your life, especially something that is so every day, and so constant, and a character that you lived,” she said in a 2012 interview. “It was such a gift to work with Grant Aleksander (Ex-Phillip), Ron Raines (Ex-Alan) and Beth Chamberlin (Ex-Beth), and I loved them. If I saw them, I would run up to them like I was their child.”
Chamberlin, who starred as Panettiere’s on-screen mother in the soap, also shared a touching tribute to the late actress.
“Hayden played my daughter for 3 years. She was the most brilliant child actor I’ve ever seen,” she began. “The things she could do, the way she could remember 20+ pages of dialogue, day after day. Even on days where the director would come out between dress and tape and make huge cuts to the scenes, Hayden, never once forgot a line or missed her blocking. The adults would, but not Hayden.”
“I felt blessed to work with her. And always perfect in her playing of the scene,” she shared.
