Hayden Panattiere’s co-stars are remembering the Nashville actor after her death.
Emme Rylan, who appeared with Panettiere in 2006’s Bring It On: All or Nothing, said that she was “sad” to hear about Panattiere’s death.
“So very sad. Rest in peace sweet soul,” Rylan wrote on her Instagram story.
Viola Davis, who acted alongside Panettiere in Custody, added, “What an amazing talent you were….so gifted… I wish the world had more time with you because I had a burning curiosity about who you were becoming.”
“I saw this beautiful Phoenix rising from the ashes. Your tests became your testimony, and your testimony became your legacy,” Davis continued. “You will be remembered. Rest well, Hayden. Sending healing prayers to your family, your daughter, and all who loved you. May they always speak your name….♥️🙏🏿🕊

One Tree Hill star Bethany Joy Lenz also shared some sweet words as well. The pair met on the long-running CBS daytime soap opera Guiding Light and have been friends ever since.
“I’m crushed,” she wrote on Instagram. “…I dont understand how this is real. Everything seemed to be turning around. She was coming BACK to life, wasn’t she? It’s too young and there’s still so much more life. And her daughter…. Hayden, you are surround by love. I’m sorry for every moment I didn’t reach out or check in. This can’t be real.”
“These are moments of how I knew you, in glimpses over 27 years. I don’t know how to process this. I am praying for you to know the peace of God now and always,” Lenz added.
How Hayden Panettiere Died
On Aug. 16, news broke that Panettiere, whose known for her roles in Nashville and Heroes, has died.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” her father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement to ABC News.
The Greenville, South Carolina, police department told People that Panettiere was found “unresponsive” at a residence in the area at around 1:50 p.m. local time on Aug. 16.
TMZ reported that first responders attempted to resuscitate Panettiere using “advanced cardiac life support.” However, she was reportedly pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m., as chest compressions administered by paramedics were also unable to revive her.
According to dispatch audio obtained by People, officials were heard discussing an “overdose” and “cardiac arrest” around the time of Panettiere’s death.
