Christie Brinkley and her equally beautiful daughter, 28-year-old Sailor Brinkley Cook, had fans seeing double when they walked the red carpet for John Mayer’s SiriusXM concert on Wednesday, August 26. Brinkley shares Sailor, her youngest child, with her former husband Billy Joel.
GettyBrinkley chose high-waisted flare jeans which she paired with pointy brown boots and an olive-colored jacket over a blue satin top. She accessorized with a fringe purse and wide belt. Sailor, meanwhile, chose low-rise denim with a relaxed straight fit, and added a black tank and cutoff denim jacket on top. Both women wore their similarly-colored blonde hair in flowing waves around their shoulders.
On being a mom, Brinkley previously told Parade, “You learn so much from each child, just getting an opportunity to see the world through their eyes. I have three real individuals. They all find magic in different places, and I feel so fortunate to be able to experience that.”

Brinkley continued in her post, “You should know you can’t define an icon like Dolly Parton by a number! Also immeasurable are her too numerous to count talents, her boundless good energy and effervescent humor, and her golden philanthropic heart full of love! The fact that she can also rock a Dallas cheerleader outfit too, is inspiring and fun!”
She wrapped up her post by saying maybe Dolly’s next goal should be a cover of SI Swim, the magazine the supermodel dominated in the past by scoring 3 consecutive solo covers from 1979 to 1981.
