The Wonderful Life of Christie Brinkley
The Instagram post features Brinkley with an apple in her mouth, dancing playfully, eating spray cream straight from the can, and many more sweet and candid moments. The clip also offers fans a way to get to know Brinkley better and highlights her private life. Her professional life, of course, needs little introduction, and she has been a muse, a supermodel, and a brand ambassador. She’s even joined DWTS! Brinkley was briefly on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 28 before withdrawing due to injury. She was replaced by her model daughter, Sailor, who placed ninth alongside professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
Brinkley’s career has spanned decades, and she has been incredibly successful. But she has also been adventurous. “I have always wanted to try to do as many things as possible, have all these different experiences and fill up my life with adventures,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald in a July 2025 interview. One of these experiences included photographing boxing matches, starting with heavyweight boxing legend Muhammad Ali. In her interview, Brinkley recalled how that happened.
“One day I was sitting in the Plaza Hotel’s Edwardian Room, which looks over 59th Street and Central Park,” she said. “I saw Muhammad Ali crossing the street, I shot up from the table and ran through the dining room, through the lobby, to the steps. I said, ‘Muhammad Ali, I love you,’ and he said, ‘Christie Brinkley, I love you, too.’ ” She later photographed a fight he had against Larry Holmes.
