Actress, director, and producer Melissa Joan Hart has provided a wonderful dose of nostalgia with a sizzling throwback photograph from the the late 1990s.
Hart, 50, rose to fame in the 90s as the star of shows like Nickelodeon’s “Clarissa Explains It All” and ABC’s “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” Although she is undoubtedly still beautiful today, she was certainly a bona fide pinup girl back then.
Now more famous with contemporary audiences for her roles in various Lifetime movies and Hallmark’s 2016 Christmas film “Broadcasting Christmas,” the season 9 “Dancing with the Stars” contestant has taken to social media to remind her fans of followers of what she was like in the last decade of the 20th century.

Melissa Joan Hart posted a sizzling snap from her 1990s shoot with Bikini Magazine on her Instagram account, sharing it with her 2.1 million followers.
The post comprises a single image, showing Hart wearing a patterned bikini, leaning on some rocks by the sea under a clear blue sky. Needless to say the star looks stunning.
Hart’s caption on the post reads, “Bikini magazine, circa 1999.”
A little research confirms that Hart is absolutely correct. The photograph was from the October 1999 edition of Bikini Magazine — the self-proclaimed “World’s greatest men’s magazine!” Hart was 23 years old at the time of the shoot, which actually featured several more photos of the star.
Of course, Hart’s fans and followers made a beeline for the post’s comments section to have their say on it.

Hart has enjoyed a quiet 2026. Her most recent acting credits both came in 2025. That year, she starred in the Lifetime thriller movie “Killing the Competition” and appeared in the Netflix festive rom-com “A Merry Little Ex-Mas.”
There are, however, rumors that she will appear in the as-yet-untitled “Clarissa Explains It All” reboot as the eponymous Clarissa Darling.
