We are moving into week 10 on “Survivor” season 49, which means these castaways are starting to feel more and more fatigued. That seems to set in tonight on “Survivor” 2025, which brings some of them to their breaking points. It all ends tonight when Jeff Probst reveals an epic blindside during Tribal Council, which leaves some of the castaways shocked. It’s time for another week of challenges and backstabbing, but who gets voted off “Survivor” 49 tonight? Find out during our “Survivor” season 49 live recap below!
Farting or Talking Game on ‘Survivor’?
In one of the funniest sneak peek videos from CBS, we see Sage and Jawan trying to discuss the game. Are they, or is she just getting away from the other tribe members to let out some gas? In tonight’s episode of “Survivor” 2025, which is titled “Huge Dose of Bamboozle,” the castaways seem focused on Kristina and the Hidden Immunity Idol she has.
Meanwhile, Rizo keeps making it out of Tribal without having to use his, even though everyone knows about it. Can he make it another week with it? Find out tonight and find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 49 during our “Survivor” live recap below.

Final 8 on ‘Survivor’ 49
When this season started, I was a fan of Rizo. He now seems to be too cocky for me, and how they continue to not vote for him and not try and get rid of the idol is beyond me. Meanwhile, Kristina has a meltdown after Tribal Council. She feels like they are on the outs and has no clue what is going on.
Then we see Soph talking about Steven, and she acts like they are fine since he wrote her name down. She says they are even, since she wrote his name down. However, she really wants him gone next.
The next morning, Sage and Jawan talk. She decides to tell Jawan about Kristina’s idol, but tells him not to tell Steven since she promised. They are talking game, but she wants Jawan to tell everyone she has gas.
Then Jawan talks with Steven to gauge things with him and Kristina. Steven never tells him about Kristina’s idol, so that doesn’t sit well with Jawan. He may now want Steven gone because he can’t trust him. Steven and Kristina then talk, want to surprise everyone by playing Kristina’s idol. Then, throwing two votes on Savannah and blindsiding her.
Reward Challenge
The castaways arrive by boat at Jeff Probst, as they are taking on a Reward Challenge. Jeff asks how they are doing, which Steven talks about hitting a wall and then Kristina having a breakdown. She talks about not having anyone out here and wants her mom. She is struggling and trying to dig deep, but is not sure if she’s got it today. Jeff helps talk her through it.
For this challenge, they will work through obstacles to pick up buoys in pairs. Once they have all the buoys, they will then try to get those buoys into three targets. The winning team will be taken to the Sanctuary to enjoy a backyard barbecue: hamburgers, hot dogs, and chocolate cake. They draw teams:
- Blue Team – Sophie, Soph, Sage, and Steven
- Yellow Team – Jawan, Rizo, Kristina, and Savannah
Blue Team gets to the buoys first and starts trying to get them in the basket. Yellow Team catches up, but Blue Team pulls out the win, and they will be heading to the Sanctuary.
Hunger Takes Over
After the loss in the Reward Challenge, Rizo has a breakdown. He has been on top, but the lack of food makes him meet his breaking point. They are all hungry and starting to lose it, so Jawan tries to be the provider and heads out to try and catch some fish.
He catches a tiny fish and is happy, as we then see the winning team enjoy huge burgers and hot dogs. While they feel bad for Kristina and Rizo, Sophie said it’s an individual game, and this food could help them win an Immunity Challenge and get closer to winning $1 million.
Sage and Sophie then talk, and Sage said she wants to go after Savannah. She said Savannah feels safe right now, which is when she gets vulnerable. Sophie seems down for this plan on “Survivor” season 49.
Three Boys on a Bench
Apparently, Steven, Jawan, and Rizo have started a boy band and have three hit singles already, including “Three Boys on a Bench.”
We then see Savannah, Sage, Soph, Jawan, and Rizo talking. They talk about voting Steven out, which they all seem to be down for. However, Sage plans to keep Savannah feeling comfortable, but then vote her off.
Sage then talks with Jawan, Steven, and Sophie about this plan. Jawan and Steven feel okay with it, but Sophie is torn between the two sides. Sophie now thinks she is in the middle and is not sure what side to go with, but Alex thought that too, and now he is on the jury! None of this talk could even matter, depending on how the Immunity Challenge goes.
Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ 2025
For this challenge, the castaways will work through a series of obstacles to gather puzzle pieces. Once they have all the puzzle pieces, they will put together a “Survivor” logo puzzle. Jeff then offers them a reward: he offers them a bag of rice that will feed them for the rest of the season. To get it, three people have to sit. No one wants to sit, so the rice is gone, and the challenge has started.
Steven gets the puzzle pieces first as he starts working on the puzzle. He has an early lead, as all of the castaways are working on the puzzle now. It was close for a little bit, but then Sophie went on a terror. She was getting puzzle piece after puzzle piece, and very quickly. She wins immunity and is safe tonight!
The Time Is Now
With Savannah not winning immunity, Sage says they have to vote her out now. They need to break up Savannah, Rizo, and Soph. Sage then says she wants three things to happen tonight: vote Savannah out, get Rizo and Kristina to play their idol.
Meanwhile, Sophie doesn’t seem to be on any side, but she is safe. She is telling Rizo’s side the plan for Sage, who wants to go after Savannah. They then say stick with voting for Steven, and Rizo could play the idol for Savannah. Now it goes all over the place, as Savannah basically bullies Kristina to try and get info, but then does the same with Jawan.
Now it turns into Savannah, Soph, and Rizo wanting to use their extra vote and to vote out Sage or Jawan, since they are flip-floppers. They are all over the place, as everyone’s name seems to be thrown out there right now.
Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ 49
The castaways are at Tribal, and this should be an interesting one. They are all beating around the bush, and who knows how it’s going to go down. Savannah talks about reading people and their body language. Jawan says the person who may go home tonight might not know it, but is a threat to their alliance. Rizo talks about his idol and whether he will or won’t use it tonight. The talks are done, and it’s time to vote.
Results – Jeff tallies the votes. We see Kristina play her idol for Steven. Rizo then plays his idol for Savannah, but it’s not the real idol. He chooses not to play the real one! The votes: Savannah, Jawan, Rizo, Savannah, Jawan, Savannah, Jawan, Jawan, and Jawan. The smug look on Savannah’s face makes me so upset. However, it’s Jawan voted off tonight on “Survivor” season 49!
