Pamela Anderson Gets Candid About Her Past With Tommy Lee

Pamela Anderson opened up with rare candor about her past marriage to drummer Tommy Lee, acknowledging that she wishes they had a better relationship today even as she looks back with gratitude for the part it played in her life.

In a candid radio interview with Andy Cohen, the Baywatch star and model reflected on her decades-long journey through love, heartbreak and personal growth — offering nuance and compassion rather than bitterness.

Anderson and Lee Have a Long History

Anderson, 58, and Lee, 63, first met in the mid-1990s and were one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples.

They married in 1995 and quickly became headline fixtures — their whirlwind romance, high-profile careers and music industry lifestyle capturing public fascination.

The pair welcomed two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, before their marriage ended in divorce in 1998.

In the latest interview, Anderson said that she has tried to reach out to Lee throughout the years, as her sons still see him.

“They see him. I always ask about him. I tried to send him pickles. I try to stay in contact,” he told Cohen.

The host asked if he refused to accept pickles, to which Anderson gave more context.

“My kids just said, ‘Mom, just…,’ I don’t know what it is. I have to stay out of it, and I shouldn’t really be saying anything, but I do wish them the best. I hope everything’s okay,” she continued.

Her comments didn’t cast blame, but instead emphasized the complexity of love, timing and personal development.

Anderson Wishes the Best for Lee

Anderson added that she wants the best for Lee.

“But I wish we had a better relationship,” she continued. “I haven’t spoken to him in a long time. I miss him, and I — just with the kids getting married and having grandkids, we’re always going to be connected in some way.”

Anderson also spoke about the importance of the life she and Lee shared — especially their role as co-parents.

Despite the end of their marriage, both have remained devoted to raising their sons, now adults themselves.

Brandon, 27, has pursued acting and modeling, while Dylan, 26, has followed creative pursuits of his own.

The family has navigated the ups and downs of celebrity life with a focus on mutual respect and support.

Anderson did add that their son Dylan will be tying the knot soon.

“My son Dylan’s getting married soon, so I’ll see them at the wedding,” Anderson said of Lee and his wife Brittany Furlan.

The actress said that she believes the distance between the two is also due to his marriage.

“I just think he’s a real romantic. He’s very dedicated to his wife, and I think that he just doesn’t want to cause any waves or maybe, I don’t know, but I don’t like it,” Anderson said.

Anderson’s remarks came amid broader discussion of her personal evolution, including her priorities today and how her journey through fame has informed her approach to relationships.
