Zendaya’s mom is weighing in on the speculation that she is secretly married to Tom Holland.
After stylist Law Roach raised eyebrows with a bold comment on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards, Claire Stoermer stepped in with a subtle — and humorous — reaction.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight on March 1, Roach appeared to casually drop a bombshell when asked about the couple’s relationship status.
“The wedding has already happened,” he said, before adding, “You missed it.”
When the reporter referenced recent speculation about Zendaya wearing a gold wedding band, Roach continued the bit.
“The wedding is over, sorry,” he added with a laugh.
That laugh didn’t go unnoticed.
Stoermer reposted the interview clip to her Instagram Stories the following day, March 2, and wrote, “The laugh…” along with a laughing emoji — seemingly poking fun at the over-the-top speculation swirling online.
The Couple Has Faced Rumors in the Past
The playful exchange comes after months of rumors about the couple’s engagement.
Talk first intensified during the 2025 Golden Globe Awards when Zendaya was seen sporting a large diamond ring on her left hand.
Reports soon followed claiming Holland had popped the question.
An insider previously shared with PEOPLE that Holland had long been serious about their future, saying he had been “wanting to propose [to her] for a while now” and that “He always knew she was the one.”
The source added, “They have something very special.”
Holland appeared to acknowledge a shift in their relationship status in September 2025, when he gently corrected a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his “girlfriend” during a public panel appearance — a moment that quickly went viral among fans.
The pair first met in 2016 while filming “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” where they played on-screen love interests Peter Parker and MJ.
While the couple is incredibly private, Zendaya previously told ELLE in August 2023 how she is navigating having her private life in the public eye.
“I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now,” she said at the time.
By 2017, reports confirmed their off-screen romance had blossomed as well.
Despite Roach’s dramatic red carpet tease, there has been no official confirmation that the couple has tied the knot.
Representatives for both actors have previously declined to comment on wedding rumors.
