Brooke Shields is celebrating a big milestone in her family.
The Hallmark actress, best known for her roles as Charlotte Thornton on the beloved series “When Calls the Heart” and Abby Knight in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie series “Flower Shop Mysteries,” is marking her daughter Grier’s 20th birthday with a heartfelt tribute on social media. Shields included throwback photos of her and her daughter over the years, offering fans a nostalgic look back at their mother-daughter journey.

“My baby is 20 years old today 🥹,” Shields wrote in the caption of her April 18 Instagram post. “Happy birthday, Grier! I love you so much 🩷”

All About Shields’ Model Daughter Grier

Henchy is a screenwriter, producer, and director best known for his creative partnership with Will Ferrell on projects such as “The Other Guys.” The pair are parents to two daughters: Rowan and Grier. They had their first daughter, Rowan Francis Henchy, in 2003, then three years later, Shields gave birth to Grier Hammond Henchy, according to PEOPLE.
Grier works as a model, who made her runway debut with Tommy Hilfiger in 2024. Shields has attended fashion events with her daughter in the past, including Milan Fashion Week, where they wore matching leather ensembles.
When Grier attended the March 2023 premiere of Shields’ documentary “Pretty Baby,” she paid tribute to her mom by wearing a vintage Dolce & Gabbana suit that Shields wore on the sitcom “Suddenly Susan,” according to InStyle.
“If I want to know where anything good that I have is, and I can’t find it in my closet, I know exactly where to find it. It’s [Grier!]” Shields told PEOPLE during a November 2021 interview.
Grier was featured in Victoria’s Secret’s Mother’s Day campaign in 2022 alongside her mom. When Shields shared the campaign on Instagram, she wrote in the caption of her April 2022 post how “overjoyed” she was to be a part of the campaign with Grier.
Shields continued in the caption, “To be able to shoot this campaign with my daughter and to showcase the beauty of our relationship was a dream come true.”
