Bunnie Xo is pulling back the curtain on her most recent cosmetic operation.
Just days after undergoing a facelift, the podcast host and wife of artist Jelly Roll shared a brutally honest update on Instagram about her recovery.
Bunnie Xo Reveals the Downsides of Her Facelift Recovery
In her Instagram post on March 23, Bunnie Xo revealed that her facelift recovery isn’t going exactly how she thought. In fact, it’s pretty rough.
Bunnie is seen dancing and posing to “Easy Lover” by Phil Collins and Philip Bailey in the clip. A pair of friends comically trying to rein her in.
The podcast host shared that she was on day six of her facelift recovery.
A text overlay read, “When it’s day 6 of your recovery, you have cabin fever, watched every 2000’s movie, can barely walk w/o being winded, live in a recliner, [and] feel like you’re being choked from ear to ear.”
She added in the overlay, “Everyone keeps telling you day 7 is the best day, but that’s tomorrow & you have lost all faith in humanity.”
“I kno [sic], I did this to myself,” the author added in the video’s caption.
Though her recovery hasn’t been easy, she appears to be in good spirits overall.
Bunnie Xo Shared the Unfiltered Look of Her Operation
As a podcast host and content creator, Bunnie Xo has been an open book, sharing her life with the public. Her facelift operation was no different.
In a pretty gruesome look, Bunnie showed her followers the aftermath of the operation. Her face and eyes were extremely swollen as medical drains hung on both sides of her face.
The author has been sharing her whole journey with her followers and even poking fun at herself along the way.
In spite of her current pain, Bunnie Xo was adamant that the choice was the best for her.
“For everyone asking why I decided to do a facelift, old filler was one of the main reasons,” she wrote on Instagram on March 18.
She added, “I had stopped getting filler over 3 years ago in my face (I did have some in my lips tho), had it dissolved multiple times in my cheeks & it still was in my face.”
Though she may still be on the mend, Bunnie’s recovery process looks much better on day six than on day one. She may feel like she’s being “choked,” but at least she’s up and moving.
