Keith Urban is reportedly embracing his newfound freedom now that Nicole Kidman appears to have moved on with businessman Michael Reinstein.
According to the National Enquirer, the former “American Idol” judge, 58, has been enjoying life on the road more than ever and is no longer holding back when it comes to dating.
“Keith doesn’t have a whole lot of downtime when he’s on tour, but when he does, he definitely has a good time,” the source told the outlet.

“He’s got all sorts of friends who come out to the shows, and then afterwards, there is usually a party, and there are always plenty of beautiful women invited,” the source added. “Keith’s fan base is very female and a lot of them have supported him for years, so he sees them over and over, and it’s not unusual for them to be in the mix.”
While the country singer reportedly isn’t pursuing every woman he meets, the outlet claimed that some have caught his eye.
“There are certainly a select few that are getting special attention. There’s plenty of flirting, and some get his personal number,” the source alleged. “He’s very discreet when it comes to what goes on aside from that, but he is absolutely dating.”
With Kidman seemingly moving on, the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer reportedly wants to “play the field without any pressure.”
“He’s obviously enjoying the attention and the freedom to flirt,” the insider added. “It’s all part of this new chapter for him.”
Keith Urban Hinted at Marriage Woes Ahead of Divorce, Says Radio Host Friend
Earlier this week, Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands revealed that a text from Urban seemed to hint at marital problems with Kidman months before their divorce.
“Before it was announced, Keith sent me a text … he was coming out to Australia,” Sandilands said in the August 19 episode of “Kyle Sandilands Live” radio show, per Nine. “He’s a good guy. He sent me a text saying, ‘Bro, when I get there we MUST catch up.”
Sandilands now sees Urban’s message as a possible sign that the singer was struggling behind the scenes as his marriage to Kidman faced difficulties at the time.
Getty“I looked back at that and thought, ‘aha.’ I didn’t realize what he was saying then,” Sandilands explained. The two ultimately did not meet up during the country singer’s visit.
The radio host continued, “Keith is a really nice guy, and Nicole is super sweet as well. Some of these relationships just come to a natural end. When you’re in the spotlight like these two, who are really quite private, they don’t air the dirty laundry. They are just two really sweet people. I like them very much. I’m not taking sides.”
In July, Kidman sparked dating rumors with Reinstein after they were spotted getting cozy in Portofino, Italy. Earlier this month, the businessman was also seen picking up the actress at Hollywood Burbank Airport following her return from a press tour in New York.
