RHOSLC Star Bronwyn Newport Hints at Big Next Step: ‘It’s a Secret’

Bronwyn Newport is making moves — but she’s not ready to spill all the details just yet. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star revealed she’s accomplished one of her top career goals since joining the franchise, but fans will have to wait to learn exactly what it is.

Bronwyn Newport Teases a Major Career Move

During a recent visit to Bravo HQ, Newport revealed that she’s keeping a significant new project under wraps for now.

“I had a couple of things that I really wanted to do when I was choosing to open my life up to Housewives, and one of them I just did,” Newport teased. “It’s a secret, but it’s a race, of sorts.”

While she didn’t reveal specifics, Newport made it clear that she’s embracing new opportunities outside of reality television. She added with a laugh, “I’m happy to fight with the women on camera if I could also talk about fashion on different cameras.”

Newport, who joined “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” in season 6, has used her platform to showcase her love of high fashion. She’s already become a fixture on red carpets, covering some of the industry’s biggest nights.

The RHOSLC Star Shares Her Fashion Journey

Newport has also carved out a space for herself in fashion media. She’s covered red carpets for major awards shows, including the Emmys and SAG Awards, bringing her bold style sensibilities to the spotlight.

“I have always loved fashion, and it’s been such an exciting opportunity for me that I’ve gotten to do red carpet coverage for The Emmys, The SAGs, and that’s something that I hope to keep doing in the future,” she explained.

Earlier this year, Newport co-hosted SAG Awards coverage for People and Entertainment Weekly, calling it “a dream come true.” She wore a 1968 haute couture Dior gown originally designed for Maria Felix, a look that she proudly shared on Instagram.

She also made a statement at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, wearing a vintage 1962 Richard Blackwell gown and feather boa while delivering fashion commentary. “Mr. Blackwell was a fashion designer aaaaand the creator of the first worst dressed list! I’m on the red carpet doing fashion commentary, so I had to be in the father of fashion commentary’s dress!” she wrote at the time.

In a December interview with Fashionista, Newport explained how her fashion philosophy has evolved. “A big part of what I’m wearing is expressing who I am,” she said. A former career in finance made her realize she didn’t have to choose between intelligence and individuality. “It spurred this idea in me, that I wanted to change the idea that dressing with color or in a novelty way should not reflect on my intelligence level or capability. It’s okay to wave whatever freak flag, polka dot flag, or rainbow flag you want.”

Newport and her husband, Todd Bradley, are also investors and producers on several Broadway productions, including a revival of “Cabaret.”
