‘Southern Charm’ Star Craig Conover Shares Exciting Plans for the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games

Craig Conover is preparing for an international trip as he joins Team USA’s creator group at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games.

The “Southern Charm” cast member will travel to Cortina, Italy, in March to help share coverage from the Milan-Cortina Paralympic Winter Games. The Bravo staple discussed the opportunity in an interview with The Daily Dish ahead of the games.

“I’m excited to be introduced to a whole bunch more sports at the Para Games,” Conover said.

Conover will report from Cortina, where several winter sports competitions will take place during the games.

“I’ll be stationed in Cortina,” Conover explained. “So I’m covering alpine skiing, para-snowing, and para-biathlon.”

The 2026 Winter Paralympic Games will open on March 6 and conclude on March 15. Peacock will stream every sport and event live.

Craig Conover Will Share Paralympic Athlete Stories

Conover said one of his main goals at the Paralympic Games is to introduce viewers to the athletes competing in the events.

“I love connecting to the athletes behind the competition and just being able to connect with them so much that I can share their story with our country, especially with the world,” Conover said.

He noted that hearing athletes discuss the challenges they have overcome can help viewers better understand the competition.

“The competition sells itself. Let alone in the level of athleticism,” Conover said. “But then if people ever hear the stories behind the athletes and so many things that they’ve overcome, that’s when you kind of get hooked.”

Conover added that those personal connections were a highlight of his experience at the Paralympic Summer Games in 2024.

The ‘Southern Charm’ Star Previously Covered the 2024 Paralympic Games

Conover first joined the creator program during the 2024 Paralympic Summer Games in Paris.

During that trip, Conover introduced audiences to several Paralympic sports and athletes while sharing his own experiences learning new events.

“Just from the first day of walking into our facility, I just realized how big para-athletics are around the rest of the world and here,” Conover said.

Conover said the experience helped him appreciate the level of competition involved in Paralympic sports.

“It’s just a level of athletics that’s insane,” Conover said.

While in Paris, Conover also tried wheelchair fencing alongside athletes.

He later shared videos of himself practicing the sport during the visit.

“I love it here!” Conover wrote in an Instagram Story at the time while documenting his fencing lesson.

Conover said he hopes to try more sports when he attends the Winter Paralympic Games in Italy.

“I’m sure going to get smoked on the mountain because I’m going to snowboard with the team,” Conover said. “And I’m going to get crushed.”

Craig Conover Focuses on Paralympics While Growing Sewing Down South

Conover continues to run his lifestyle brand Sewing Down South while appearing on “Southern Charm.”

The entrepreneur said he currently has no plans to launch a Paralympics-themed collection for the company.

“I mean, that would be cool one day,” Conover said. “But no, Sewing Down South will be supporting from afar.”

Conover noted that the brand occasionally releases patriotic or Americana-inspired collections.

“You know, we do a patriotic line or Americana line,” Conover said.

He added that partnering with the Olympic or Paralympic movement
could become a long-term goal for the company.

“Maybe one day we’ll sponsor the Olympics,” Conover said. “It’s not a terrible 10-year goal.”

New episodes of “Southern Charm” air Wednesdays on Bravo.
