Fans are rallying around “Southern Charm” alum Olivia Flowers after she returned to Instagram since announcing her shocking split from her fiancé, Alex Williams, on Oct. 14.
The Bravo star has stayed off the radar since announcing their breakup, a moment made even more striking to fans given it came just weeks after she posted snapshots of her fun-filled Bachelorette in Miami.
Olivia Flowers Shares a ‘Comeback’ Post Since Her Engagement Fallout
Getty“Southern Charm” alum Olivia Flowers is taking steps forward after the recent end of her relationship with her former fiancé, Alex Williams. On Nov. 23, Flowers shared two photos of herself on Instagram, celebrating the Dallas Cowboys’ win against the Philadelphia Eagles, a massive comeback victory for the team.
Flowers, who sported Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s No. 88 jersey, captioned her post, “Got ourselves a comeback, let’s go @dallascowboys. This game is nuts.” However, that wasn’t the only “comeback,” as it marked her first Instagram post since her engagement fallout.
Fans and even a few familiar reality stars flooded Flowers’ post with love and support, plus a little friendly teasing from those who definitely aren’t rooting for the Cowboys.
“Summer House” season 9 star Lexi Wood wrote, “GORG!!!!!❤️.” Meanwhile, “Vanderpump Rules” alum Ally Lewber, who has been seen hanging out with Flowers in September, shared heart-eye emojis and “My girll.” Even former “Southern Charm” star Landon Clements shared her support, commenting, “It’s all about the comeback sweet girl 💖”
Fans wrote comments like, “Glowing. Gorgeous. We love to see it,” and “Good to see you back. Good comeback!!!!”
While Flowers lived in Charleston, South Carolina, during her time on seasons 8 and 9 of “Southern Charm,” she later moved to Texas, which is where her parents live and where her former fiancé also resided.
According to People, on Oct. 14, Flowers’ reps shared the news that she and Williams were no longer engaged. “After much thought and many heartfelt conversations, Olivia and her fiancé Alex have made the difficult decision not to move forward with their wedding.” The pair got engaged in September 2024 after meeting a year prior.
Flowers Shared She Would ‘Definitely’ Return to ‘Southern Charm’
Flowers was blindsided by her firing from “Southern Charm” after season 9. It was especially shocking to fans given her storyline, where she learned her best friend, Taylor Ann Green, had kissed her ex-boyfriend, Austen Kroll. The season was also an emotional one for Flowers after the death of her brother in January 2023.
While appearing on “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast, co-hosted by Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp, Flowers strongly believed she was fired from the show because of her relationship with Williams, who was living in Texas.
“A lot of people think I made the choice, like, I have this new relationship and I’m choosing another path,” she shared. She then detailed her phone conversation with producers: “We’re noticing on your Instagram you’re in Texas, you’ve got this new boyfriend, and it seems like you’re choosing a different path.”
When Judge asked Flowers if she would return to the show, she didn’t hesitate: “Yeah, definitely.” She added, “I enjoyed the whole process. I really did. Like I said, I was bummed not to be asked back.”
