The former couple were expected to wed in November.
Olivia Flowers Ends Her Engagement to Alex Williams
Olivia Flowers and Alex Williams have decided to end their engagement. Flowers’ representatives shared the shocking news, which she later shared on Instagram: “After much thought and many heartfelt conversations, Olivia and her fiancé Alex have made the difficult decision not to move forward with their wedding. This was not a decision made lightly, but one grounded in deep mutual respect and love for one another.”
“While this isn’t the path they originally envisioned, they are profoundly grateful for the love and support of their friends and family. Alex and Olivia remain committed to each other with a renewed sense of clarity, strength and appreciation for honoring one’s heart. She is very appreciative of your grace and kindness as they move through this transition together,” the statement concluded.
The couple first met at a wedding in 2023, with Williams proposing to the star the following year at the Meadow Terrace Suite at JW Marriott Essex House in New York City.
Flowers & Williams Had Planned to Wed in November
GettyFans were surprised by Flowers’ announcement, especially after the former Bravo star had just celebrated her Bachelorette party in Miami, Florida, in September.
“Wow. Shocked. Just had the bachelorette and she seemed so happy. Hope they are ok and it was mutual,” a fan wrote in the comment section of her post.
“Wow! A little shocking since she’s been posting pictures nonstop about the wedding preparations,” another person wrote.
Speaking to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” in April, Flowers shared that she and Williams had planned to get married in November in Texas. “It’s in Westlake. It’s where I used to live in Texas, so there’s sentimental value there,” she had said.
Sharing why she chose the time and location, Flowers said, “I actually always thought I wanted a spring wedding but I was in Dallas in November last year and it was so beautiful. It was in the 70s. And I was just like, ‘If we can carry this into next year, I’m solid on this.”
