Bravo Star Breaks Silence After Calling off Her Wedding Just Weeks Before Saying ‘I Do’

In October 2025, former “Southern Charm” star Olivia Flowers stunned fans when she called off her wedding to fiancé Alex Williams just one month before they were set to say “I do.” The unexpected split came shortly after the Bravo alum shared photos from her lively Miami bachelorette party, and even posted smiling photos with Williams the day before announcing the decision.

Then, just two months later, Flowers sparked reconciliation rumors when she included Williams in an Instagram carousel, with a caption that read: “You can call off a wedding without calling off a relationship.”

Now, in a candid interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Flowers is finally breaking her silence on what really led to the wedding being called off, and where she and Williams stand today.

Oliva Flowers Opens up About Her Relationship With Fiancé Alex Williams After Calling Off Their Wedding

Fans are finally learning the real reasons why former “Southern Charm” star Olivia Flowers and her fiancé Alex Williams called off their November 2025 wedding.

Speaking on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” on Feb. 13, Flowers shared that it was a mutual decision by the couple. “We’re still together, and it was a decision that we made together,” she began. “Honestly, we had so much stress about things post-wedding, and I think we were scapegoating the wedding planning, ‘Oh, this is why we’re stressed, this is why we’re stressed.'”

Flowers revealed that even with the wedding fully planned, being just “three weeks out” from officially becoming husband and wife began to weigh heavily on both of them.

“And we’re still feeling that stress, so we had a lot of difficult conversations, but they were essential, and we realized we were feeling both stressed and nervous about things post-wedding,” she shared.

The Bravo star also explained that the pressure was compounded by the fact that both of their careers were taking off and pulling them in different directions.

After speaking to their family and friends, who were extremely supportive, they realized it was okay to “hit pause.”

When asked in the same interview how her relationship had changed after calling off her wedding, Flowers revealed that she and Williams “stayed united.”

“It did make us stronger. Once we kind of weathered the storm and the logistics in making that decision, we just fell into like our support group and fell into each other. And, as long as we were on the same page in knowing what this is, because this is the first time I’m talking about it, publicly, so I just wanted to be good with him, I wanted our families to be good, and then when the time was right, talk about it,” she shared.

Flowers went on to say that, surprisingly, calling off the wedding ultimately strengthened their relationship. Rather than creating distance, she explained, the decision opened the door to more honest conversations.

She told the hosts that it has created “a whole new space for authenticity” for the two, allowing them to show up for each other without the pressure of a looming wedding date.

Though she wore her engagement ring, Flowers shared that there has yet to be an official new wedding date.
