“The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” star Steven McBee Jr. shares the touching sentiment his mother, Kristi McBee, holds for his influencer girlfriend Allie Eklund and opens up about whether he envisions a future with her.
Steven & Allie Hard-Launch Their Romance Online
The pair proudly announced their relationship to the world when Steven posted a carousel of photos to his Instagram on November 3.
“Never been so certain,” he wrote in the caption, which is a phrase featured in a screenshot of a text he sent to Allie, also included in the post. There are multiple photos of the couple with their arms wrapped around each another, even sharing a big kiss in one.
Steven and Allie also posted more photos together on their Instagram stories, including their red carpet debut from the Community Services League’s Luminous Gala the night prior.
“My hot date and host,” Allie captioned a photo of them at the event.
She also posted a photo of them holding hands in the car with the caption, “me and you 🤎”
Steven reposted the photo, along with comments from his family showing their approval.
Kacie Adkison, who is dating Steven’s brother, wrote, “smartest thing you’ve ever done 👏”
Alli Ventresca, the wife of another one of Steven’s brothers, also wrote, “Yay, love this! Summer and I approve for Uncle Steven 👏💗”
Steven confirmed he met Allie by sliding into her Instagram DMs, but he didn’t get a response until their mutual friend William Van Orsdel gave him an “A+ referral and assist,” according to PEOPLE.
“It took me a couple of months and several DMs to reach out and set up a date,” Steven said in an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. He concluded, “it was so much fun. It was the best night ever.”
Steven Discusses Kristi & Allie’s Relationship
Steven also told The Daily Dish that Allie got along well with the McBee family, but she was especially close with his mother, Kristi.
“Things have been great. It has been such a good experience dating someone that brings so much peace to my life and is integrated with my family so well,” Steven said during BravoCon 2025. “So it’s been really, really fun. My mom probably loves her more than I do already. My mom is like, ‘I’ve got a new best friend.’ They text more than Allie and I do.”
What Does Steven Think About Starting a Family?
Although Steven has only been dating Allie for less than a month, he’s already thinking about their future together. He explained to The Daily Dish that his outlook on marriage and kids has changed in recent months, as his brothers, Jesse McBee and Cole McBee, had already started families.
“You know, I am fresh into a new relationship, and things look really, really good for Allie and I,” Steven said. “I think seeing my brothers have their babies, it has definitely caused me to have a new perspective on life and realize, hey, you know, there are some things, namely family and kids, that are so important that I don’t wanna miss out on anymore. So I think it could be in the very near future.”
