Cole McBee has some exciting news to share: he’s engaged. The Bravo personality, known for starring in “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys,” popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Kacie Adkison, on Friday, November 7, during a romantic farm proposal.
“Kacie is the biggest spy; she knows everything going on, and we were able to keep it a secret,” McBee told People. “It surprised her, and that was the number one thing I wanted.”
BravoFor the heartfelt moment, McBee presented Adkison with a sparkling 3.16-carat ring while their 10-month-old daughter, Blair, played a special role, as reported by People. “We 100% included our daughter,” McBee said. “We want to include her in everything we do. She’s our whole world and our whole life.”
Kacie Adkison Was Shocked by the Surprise
Adkison admitted she never saw the proposal coming. “I thought we were just going to dinner, and when I was walking outside, I thought I was being pranked,” she told People. “I realized it wasn’t a prank when I saw Cole and Blair walk out, and the whole trail up to the gazebo was covered in flowers.”
She said the romantic setup was exactly what she had always imagined. “I wanted a lot of flowers included in my proposal. I was very happy and very shocked.”
Remembering the moment, Adkison said she was overcome with emotion. “I started crying. I feel like I blacked out from emotion, so I couldn’t do anything,” she shared. “I was completely caught off guard. I still can’t believe this happened.”
The McBee Family Reacts to the Engagement
BravoThe McBee family couldn’t be happier about the engagement. “The McBee family is super excited,” McBee told People. “They’ve been on me about this for at least the last two years, but especially since Blair was born. They already considered Kacie part of the family, but now she’s officially family.”
Adkison said her own family was equally thrilled by the news. “I know my family is very excited,” she shared. “They’ve considered the Cole family forever, and I can’t believe none of them gave it away. They’re not good with secrets.”
The couple, who share their 10-month-old daughter, Blair, have had a long and winding love story. After years of being on and off, they found their rhythm and solidified their relationship while filming the Bravo reality series.

By September, the couple’s outlook had shifted. Speaking with Bravo’s “The Daily Dish,” they shared that becoming parents had strengthened their bond and given them confidence in their future together.
“Becoming parents has brought us so much closer, and I feel confident in our relationship to take that next step,” Adkison said. “Blair will be a beautiful flower girl, and that makes it even more special.”
McBee agreed, smiling as he added, “I think we are both ready for the next step. So maybe it will happen soon?”
