‘Next Gen Atlanta’ Follows in the Footsteps of ‘Next Gen NYC’

Bravo confirmed on October 23 that “Next Gen Atlanta” was in production. “Spilling some tea ahead of Bravo Fan Fest… Two new series are coming soon,” the network began on X.
“Next Gen ATL is officially in production. Scripted Microdrama ‘Charmed by a Southern Monster’ premieres November 9 exclusively on the Peacock mobile app.”
Per the official Bravo website, like “Next Gen NYC,” “Atlanta” will focus on “rising personalities navigating careers, friendships, and family dynamics.”
According to the press release, “Some have famous ties, while others are building their reputations from the ground up, but all have big dreams and plenty to prove as they juggle careers, friendships, and family dynamics.”
The network did not confirm the cast for “Next Gen Atlanta.” However, rumored cast members include Noelle Robinson, daughter of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey, and Brielle Biermann, daughter of RHOA alum Kim Zolciak.
It has also been rumored that one of singer Toni Braxton’s sons may be involved with the series.
‘Charmed by a Southern Monster’ Stars Craig Conover

“Charmed by a Southern Monster” will serve as Bravo’s first original scripted microdrama. The show stars “Southern Charmed” fan favorite Conover as Hunter Caldwell, and Nicole Mattox as Maeve Marchant.
Per the press release, “Charmed by a Southern Monster” “blends soapy romance, workplace rivalry, and small-town mystery.”
The show’s logline states, “The story follows Maeve, a brilliant corporate fixer sent to convince and seduce Hunter, a rumored murderer, into selling his family’s estate.”
“But when she discovers that the town’s most feared man may actually be its most misunderstood, and the only person who can protect her from her dangerous ex-boyfriend, Maeve becomes entangled in Hunter’s world,” the logline continues.
“As family secrets and a billion-dollar development deal threaten to unravel their growing connection, she must confront her past and decide how much she’s willing to risk for love.”
The Conover-led show premieres on Peacock on November 9 and comes as the “Southern Charmed” star also recently filmed a movie. He told Bravo Insider recently about acting, “I [bleep] love it.”
“It’s because I always loved the production side of things, but I wanted to do more. I like that we shoot for 12 weeks, and it’s great. I love the projects,” Conover continued.
He also discussed his upcoming movie, saying, “I’ve got a niece in this movie, [who] is this 5-year-old who doesn’t leave my side. And the 11-year-old girl is a star. Some actresses and actors I know of, and now we’re all friends. It’s been really cool.”
Bravo Also Confirmed The Status of ‘Next Gen NYC,’ ‘In the City,’ and ‘Southern Hospitality’
In addition to announcing their renewals, Bravo also confirmed the production status of “Next Gen NYC,” “In the City,” and “Southern Hospitality,” with filming currently underway on the first two.
Regarding “Southern Hospitality,” Bravo says filming will begin “soon.”
