Wedding bells are ringing for “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” couple, Cole McBee and Kaycie Adkison. After years of an on-and-off relationship that played out in front of Bravo cameras, the pair is officially engaged. Cole proposed to Kacie on Friday, November 7, surprising her with a romantic flower-filled proposal and a stunning 3.16-carat diamond ring — and their 10-month-old daughter, Blair, was right there for the moment.
“She’s our whole world and our whole life,” Cole told People. “We 100% included our daughter. We want to include her in everything we do.”

Cole said pulling off the surprise was no easy task. “Kacie is the biggest spy, she knows everything going on, and we were able to keep it a secret,” he said. “It surprised her, and that was the number one thing I wanted.”
Kacie, who thought they were just heading out for dinner, was caught completely off guard. “I thought I was being pranked,” she told People. “Then I saw Cole and Blair walk out, and the whole trail up to the gazebo was covered in flowers. I wanted a lot of flowers included in my proposal. I was very happy and very shocked.”
The couple’s engagement comes after years of ups and downs. The pair first met through a mutual friend and dated on and off before finding their footing on “The McBee Dynasty.” Kacie admitted to USA Insider that she originally “friend-zoned” Cole when they met, saying, “We were both just young and immature, but you see on the show we become finally official and ever since then we’ve been together and it’s been great so far.”
Kaycie Adkison Explains Why She Wasn’t Ready Before
Fans of “The McBee Dynasty” may recall that Cole’s desire to propose was a major storyline in season 2 — and at the time, Kacie wasn’t ready to say yes. “I just think we need a little more time,” she said on the show. “I don’t wanna get engaged just because it’s the next step in our relationship, I wanna get married because, like, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.”
Since then, becoming parents has strengthened their bond. In a September interview with Bravo’s “The Daily Dish,” Kacie said, “Becoming parents has brought us so much closer, and I feel confident in our relationship to take that next step. Blair will be a beautiful flower girl, and that makes it even more special.”
Cole teased at the time that a proposal was on the horizon. “I think we are both ready for the next step. So maybe it will happen soon?” he said — and it looks like he wasn’t kidding.
Both families are thrilled about the engagement. “The McBee family is super excited,” Cole told the outlet. “They already considered Kacie family, but now she’s just officially family.” Kaycie added that her family feels the same way: “They’ve considered Cole family forever, and I can’t believe none of them gave it away. They’re not good with secrets.”

As for the wedding, the couple is already planning a big celebration. “[I want a] big wedding,” Cole said. Kacie added, “We would like to do it early October, late September of next year, but it just depends. And we want to do it on the farm with a mechanical bull.”
From Bravo reality stars to parents to soon-to-be newlyweds, Cole and Kacie’s journey has come full circle. As Kaycie put it, “I started crying. I feel like I blacked out from emotion… I still can’t believe this happened.”
