“Southern Charm” season 11 premieres on Nov. 19 on Bravo, with a trailer hinting at heightened drama between friends Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. When will it end!
In a new interview with Us Weekly, not only do the two stars discuss their ongoing feud and Shep Rose finding himself in the middle of it, but they also tease a tangled love web, one that’s sure to get messy.
Craig Conover & Austen Kroll Tease Chaotic Love Web on ‘Southern Charm’
BravoIn a new interview with Us Weekly, the cast of “Southern Charm” shared a few new tidbits about their upcoming season 11. One of the major storylines, as teased in the trailer, centers on Salley Carson’s budding romance with Craig Conover, now newly single, and the added complication that newcomer Charley Manely is also attracted to the pillow maker.
What makes things complicated is that both Carson and Manley are very good friends. When Carson spoke to Us Weekly, she shared that the love triangle she found herself in, “came out of nowhere,” adding, “I didn’t even know if she would even like any of them.”
Manely shares that she and Conover bonded over their respective breakups, but she was shocked by what their relationship did to her friendship with Carson. “To have this uncomfortable area of our friendship was definitely difficult,” she said.
BravoHowever, this love triangle finds itself expanding into a love web when Austen Kroll connects with Carson after his split with girlfriend Audrey Pratt. “People who watched the trailer and think they saw the whole movie, you don’t even know,” he reveals. In fact, the season 11 trailer sees Kroll and Carson locking lips!
Adding to that tangled love web is newcomer Whit Slagsvol, who also has his eyes on Carson and Manely. “I don’t even know what the shape is called because there’s no equal sides … and multiple corners,” Conover shares of the complicated romances.
Conover’s Claim Sparks Another Fight With Kroll
In the season 11 trailer, Conover and Kroll come to blows when the Sewing Down South owner shares that Kroll may have cheated on Pratt. “Two girls just randomly said that their roommate hooked up with Austen,” he tells Shep Rose, who replies, “It was a salacious rumor.”
But, true to form, Conover struggles to let rumors go. Later, Kroll is seen telling Conover, “You’re a [expletive] prick.” When Conover then tells Rose,”Austen hates me,” Kroll angrily responds, “Yes, I do [expletive] hate you.”
Again, the men come to blows at a Halloween party, with Conover yelling at Kroll, “You told me that you were jealous that I was single.”
Whether the rumors are true or not, Kroll is acting like a very single man this season when he’s seen kissing Carson on top of a table.
In their conversation with Us Weekly, Kroll denied any allegations that he cheated on Pratt and shared he was “disappointed” that Conover repeated the rumor. Meanwhile, Rose is stuck in the middle, telling the outlet that it was a “difficult position” to be in.
Despite their ongoing feuds, Conover shared that he and Kroll continue to work out their differences. “We don’t quit each other. The Housewives may just walk away — we don’t. And I hope you get to see some of the fun moments this year too.”
