The “Southern Charm” crew is back and ready to stir things up in Charleston! Bravo dropped the news that season 11 premieres on Nov. 19, and if the trailer is any indication, fans are in for a drama-filled ride.
As fans welcome back original cast members like Shep Rose, Madison LeCroy, and Craig Conover, they won’t be the only ones turning heads. Newcomer Charley Manley quickly catches Conover’s attention, but things get complicated when her close friend, returning star Salley Carson, admits she’s crushing on him too.
Charley Manley Works in Charleston’s Art Scene
According to Bravo, Charley Manley moved to Charleston, South Carolina, for its “thriving art scene.” Looking at Manley’s LinkedIn, she has worked as a gallery associate at Meyer Vogl Gallery for nearly three years, where she curates art exhibitions, manages art inventory, and promotes upcoming events.
Back in May, Manley shared a video on Instagram hanging artwork for an exhibition at the gallery, captioning it, “Favorite show yet.” Before joining the gallery, Manley worked as a visual merchandiser for Mary Frances Limited, a fashion business located in Greenwood, South Carolina. Clearly, Manley has a knack for curating eye-catching visuals!
Manley Also Works as an Influencer
When Manley isn’t working at the gallery, there is a good chance fans can spot her on the streets of Charleston taking fashion pictures. Her LinkedIn states that she has been working as a fashion influencer since 2016.
Looking at Manley’s social media, she mostly shares snapshots promoting several clothing labels. She has over 33,000 followers on Instagram and over 2,000 followers on TikTok. On her TikTok, Manley shares “Get Ready with Me” videos and clothing hauls.
She Is a Model
According to “Southern Charm” season 11’s press release, Manley is a former model and pageant queen. Her LinkedIn states that from 2016 to 2022, she worked as a promotional model for Sherri Hill, a designer known for glamorous dresses and ball gowns. As a model for the brand, she participated in runway shows and photo shoots.
In September, Manley attended a Sherri Hill fashion show in New York City, wearing a pink mini dress with flower detail and black high heels. Although Manley no longer works for Sherri Hill, she still models for other companies, sharing photoshoots for swimwear lines and loungewear labels on Instagram.
Manley Graduated from Clemson University
Manley may be somewhat new to the Charleston scene, but she appears to have been raised in South Carolina. Her LinkedIn states that she attended Greenwood High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader. From 2016 to 2020, she attended Clemson University, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in athletic leadership.
How Does Manley Know the ‘Southern Charm’ Cast?
According to Bravo, Manley was introduced to the “Southern Charm” cast through Salley Carson. Looking at her Instagram, the women look incredibly close, creating funny videos and having attended a tennis tournament in Charleston in April.
However, the season 11 trailer teased that their friendship might be in trouble as Craig Conover may be crushing on Manley, despite Carson admitting that she is interested in him. In the clip, Carson confronts Manley, telling her, “You knew how I was feeling about him, and then you went on a date with him.” Manley then states, “If I want to go out with Craig, I can go out with Craig.”
