Ryan Seacrest currently owns a truly dreamy estate in Napa Valley. However, the “American Idol” and “Wheel of Fortune” host has decided to sell the idyllic abode for $19.8 million.
That happens to be $2.2 million less than he was previously asking. The California wine country property was formerly on the market for $22 million.
Seacrest Revealed What Drew Him to the Property
Seacrest paid $14 million for the property in 2020, and told Mansion Global in a statement, “What first drew me to the property was its incredible location.”
Found in Napa Valley’s St. Helena, around 70 miles north of San Francisco, Seacrest explained, “It offers the best of both worlds, with easy access to everything in St. Helena while still feeling private and like a true escape. The views are absolutely stunning.”
Mansion Global notes that “those sightlines take in the area’s rolling vineyards, valley floor and mountains.”
Seacrest also said, “My favorite space in the home is the enclosed porch just off the living room. It’s such a peaceful spot, and the views out over the valley floor are unforgettable. You can even see the hot air balloons drifting by in the distance. It’s the kind of place where you naturally want to slow down and take it all in.”
Seacrest’s Napa Valley Home Offers ‘Unparalleled Luxury’
“Experience unparalleled luxury at this prime 40 +/- acre Napa Valley estate, offering stunning vineyard, valley floor, and mountain views,” according to the listing. “This Napa Valley estate promises a lifestyle of luxury, privacy, and sophistication, perfectly suited for those seeking the ultimate in resort-style living.”
Along with a “Tuscan-modern main residence,” the estate includes “a rustic pool house, and a charming guest cottage, totaling 5 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and 10,750 +/- sq ft,” per the listing. “Originally built in 2004, the property underwent a significant remodel in 2023/2024, blending timeless elegance with a fresh, light-filled space tailored for today’s modern lifestyle.”
“In addition to a natural palette donning a mix of antique French limestone and wide-plank oak floors, chiseled limestone walls, and reclaimed wood-beam ceilings, the U-shaped primary dwelling is also outfitted with high-tech security, audio, and lighting systems,” according to Robb Report. “A huge stone fireplace anchors the living room, with massive wooden pocketing doors spilling out to a side terrace and a screened-in porch.”
The home also boasts “a formal dining room, which connects to a kitchen sporting a wood-burning fireplace with a rotisserie and a pizza oven, an eat-in island, and an adjoining breakfast room,” per Robb Report. “Other highlights include a library gallery, a TV room, a wine cellar, and an exercise space, plus a posh primary suite holding an office, a private terrace, and a luxe bath showcased by a freestanding gray oval soaking tub.”
The outside of the home is just as impressive, with Robb Report noting that the “sprawling mountain-view grounds, centered on a spacious graveled courtyard ideal for entertaining, host an infinity pool and spa, a bocce court, and a 220-tree Italian olive grove.”
