‘Wheel of Fortune’ Clip Goes Viral
During a recent episode of “Wheel of Fortune,” Vanna White announced her recent marriage to John Donaldson. This was supposed to be a celebratory moment, but social media users seemed to focus more on Ryan’s “gaunt” appearance.
One user wrote on X, “That’s Ryan Seacrest??? No way. Absolutely no way.”
Despite the concern, Page Six stated Seacrest is “happy and healthy,” and the host is “doing great.”
They added that Seacrest is focused on how he “kicked off the new year” with “great ratings” from his “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” special to “American Idol,” “Wheel of Fortune,” and “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.”
Fans Still Show Concern
Despite the encouraging words from Page Six, fans were quick to jump on social media and show their concern for the host.
One person wrote, “Ryan Seacrest looks like an entirely different human,” while another added, “I’m thinking that’s an actor playing Ryan Seacrest. We’ve seen him for years and this isn’t him.”
This theory seemed to go beyond one person, as another fan wrote, “It doesn’t even sound like Ryan nevermind not looking like him. Will the real Ryan Seacrest step forward 🤣.”
The concern continued, as this user wrote, “Ryan Seacrest looks like a shell of his former self. What in the name of Ozempic is happening?”
Others defended Seacrest, stating, “he’s just older.”

Not the First Time for Ryan Seacrest
Back in July 2025, Seacrest sparked similar comments after posting photos of life lately. In the photos, he was looking noticeably thinner.
A few months later, Seacrest was showing off his muscles and sculpted arms in a video shared on social media. In the video, Ryan was doing bicep curls in a T-shirt and shorts.
Seacrest joked in the caption, “The trick is to wear a t-shirt two sizes too small.”
