“Wheel of Fortune” icon Vanna White is married! The longtime letter-turner married John Donaldson in a “surprise” wedding after more than a decade together.

The beloved TV star, 68, took to social media on Wednesday, January 21, to share the exciting news.
“Surprise! We got married!” she captioned a series of photos shared via Instagram. “John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony. We’re excited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you! Love, Vanna and John.”
White shared a photo from their special day, wearing a white beaded gown and being carried by her new husband.
The pair first met at a barbecue hosted by a mutual friend in 2012.
“I remember looking at him and thinking, ‘He’s really cute,'” she told People of their relationship in 2019. “We ended up talking for a long time that night.”
She added, “It just works. He lets me be me, I let him be him … There is no drama in our relationship.”
In 2023, she told the outlet that she and Donaldson may as well be married.
“I mean, we’ve been together 12 years, and I feel like we are married. Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. You know what I mean? I know that he’s the one. He knows I’m the one,” she said. “We don’t really talk about it, but you never know,” she admitted. “I mean, I guess we could, but in my eyes and his eyes, we are married.”

Both White and Donaldson were both previously married. White was married to George Santo Pietro from 1990 to 2002. The former couple share two children, son Nicholas Santo Pietro and daughter Giovanna Santo Pietro.
