In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s shocking death, Morgan Wallen took a moment to share kind words with the media personality’s family. While performing for an Edmonton crowd on his “I’m The Problem” tour, the county music star paused before singing his hit song, “I’m a Little Crazy,” to address the situation. However, instead of making the tribute about politics, Wallen focused on those Kirk left behind: his wife and children.
“I’m not gonna say a whole bunch on this, but this song right here has been hitting me harder in the last couple days,” he explained. ” I just wanted to let Erika Kirk know that me and my family are sending prayers her way.” The crowd applauded Wallen’s simple but powerful message, and he went on to deliver a truly memorable rendition of the song.
The Edmonton Show was the Final Tour Stop for Wallen
GettyThe Edmonton show from September 14th, 2025 was also memorable because it marked the end of Wallen’s “I’m The Problem” tour. The wildly successful tour took Wallen to 20 stadiums and featured memorable walk-outs and plenty of great performances. In addition to his tribute to Kirk’s family, Wallen also took time to thank everyone who made the tour possible, as Music Mayhem reported.
“Make some noise for my crew,” he told the cheering crowd in a video from the show. “This was a perfect number of shows,” he reflected later in the video. He also thanked his fans for their ongoing support and hinted at another tour for next year. This year’s tour started June 20th and included multiple special guests, such as Ella Langley and Miranda Lambert.
“I’m The Problem” has Been Incredibly Successful
GettyWallen’s 2025 tour supported his highly anticipated album of the same name, and that release has been a resounding success so far. As Billboard reported in June 2025, the album had spent six straight weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 chart after its May 31st debut. By August, it had held the top spot for eleven nonconsecutive weeks — no easy feat in any genre.
While Wallen takes a break from touring after a long summer season, fans are left to continue enjoying “I’m The Problem” until the singer reveals what’s next for his career in country.
