Adele Zaikman is one step away from landing a coveted spot in the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom. The 24-year-old professional dancer has made it to the final three on “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro.” She is so close to the show’s ultimate prize: the opportunity to become a professional dancer on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 35. 1. Adele Is a Competitive Latin Dancer
Before appearing on “DWTS: The Next Pro,” Zaikman already had plenty of experience performing under pressure.
Adele specializes in competitive Latin dance. She has spent years developing her skills on the competition circuit.
Her résumé includes some impressive accomplishments at one of ballroom dancing’s biggest events: the Blackpool Dance Festival. Zaikman won at Blackpool in 2022. This gave her a major title long before she started competing for a spot on “Dancing With the Stars.”
2. She Has Israeli and Ukrainian Roots
Zaikman is Israeli-Ukrainian and has taken her dancing around the world. However, she now lives in Los Angeles, which does put her close to the home of “Dancing With the Stars.”
When she isn’t competing herself, she is sharing her expertise with other dancers as a dance teacher.
That experience in competitive ballroom, as well as teaching, has become one of her biggest strengths on “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro.” These contestants have to prove they can do more than just perform choreography.
3. Her Boyfriend Is Also Her Dance Partner
Dance seems to take over every aspect of Adele’s life.
During those competitive dance moments, she competes with Romanian dancer Cătălin Caucă, who also happens to be her boyfriend. According to TV Insider, their partnership began after Zaikman went looking for a new dance partner on Instagram in 2025.
The duo first danced together in April 2025. About two months later, their relationship reportedly turned romantic. The couple officially took their partnership beyond the dance floor.
4. No Threats of Going Home on ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’
Since Night 1, Zaikman has established herself as one of the show’s strongest contenders. Adele has managed to make it into the finale without ever being in jeopardy of going home.
Adele has also received plenty of praise from the judges along the way. One of those moments came in the semifinals while performing a samba with “Dancing With the Stars” pro Gleb Savchenko.
Judge Shirley Ballas gave high praise to Zaikman after the performances. She went as far as to describe it as a “masterpiece.”
Zaikman has also had the ability to show us a different side of herself during the competition. This includes the emotional rumba she performed with Allen Gerkin.
5. She Could Become a ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro at 24
Zaikman is 24 years old and celebrates her 25th birthday on September 30.
Zaikman has advanced to the final three alongside Selena Hamilton and AJ Pritchard. They will fight it out to earn a professional dancer spot on Season 35 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
For Adele, it will be one last chance to prove she has what it takes to make the jump from “The Next Pro” to the main “Dancing With the Stars” stage.
For Zaikman, it will be one final opportunity to prove she has what it takes to make the jump from “The Next Pro” to the main “Dancing With the Stars” stage.
