It’s an exciting night for “Dancing With the Stars” fans, as the remaining dancers will be taking on Finale Night on “DWTS: The Next Pro” 2026. The dancers will each perform two times tonight, including the infamous freestyle dances. Then one of the dancers will be announced the winner of “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” 2026 when co-hosts Robert Irwin and Witney Carson reveal the “Dancing With the Stars” results. Finals on ‘Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro’
We have arrived at the final night of “DWTS: The Next Pro.” This is the last chance for these three dancers to impress the judges. After all of the dancers perform two times tonight, we will then see which couple won “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” Season 1. Who will it be? The Finale Is Here
We have the finalists in place. The ballroom is full of an audience. The judges are in place, with Derek Hough serving as a guest judge tonight. Then we have Robert Irwin with his co-host for tonight, Witney Carson. They all do a group number, so a fun start to the night.
For tonight, the finalists will each be performing two dances: a ballroom style they chose themselves and a freestyle routine. The finalists will be paired with a former “DWTS” finalist. Those pairings are:
- Selena with Adam Rippon
- Adele with Nev Schulman
- AJ with Charli D’Amelio
Selena & Adam – First Dance
For their favorite dance, Selena chose the jive. They met for the first time at rehearsals. He said if he screws up, let him know. Adam said Selena is really tough as a teacher. She said this is her last ballroom routine, and she is going to perform the heck out of it.
This one seemed a little chaotic. I realize they have only 3 days to prepare, but it just didn’t seem as strong as it could have been.
Judges’ Feedback: Mark said she is an electric performer. He said he believes in her. Shirley said she is in awe of Adam. Wow moments she is able to do. Derek said she commands attention when she walks on that floor.
AJ & Charli – First Dance
They will be performing a Viennese Waltz. Charli won the show with Mark as her partner, but now he’s judging them. For the dance, they did an amazing lift. It looked so good, but then it was like he stumbled with taking her down.
Judges’ Feedback: Mark said he loves watching her dance. It was a solid performance. Derek said it’s great seeing her dance again. Seeing the trust between them is key. Shirley said Charli is everything when it comes to excellence. She wonders if he got the most out of this young lady.
Adele & Nev – First Dance
Adele chose a Samba, which Nev never did. She said it’s the hardest Latin dance, so the pressure is on. It’s odd he made the finals and never danced this? He flew in from New York, so he is feeling jet lag right now. She said the sparkle is off. Adele had to cut the rehearsal short so he can come back the next day ready to rock it.
For the routine, I feel he was struggling on this one. He’s very stiff, and it had me watching him and not her. I feel she did great, but he was struggling.
Judges’ Feedback: Derek said that was fantastic. When choreographing a routine, there needs to be more creativity. Mark said the queen cobra came out again tonight. Beautiful samba. Shirley said Adele is a magical teacher. Your use of musicality is second to none.
A Sit Down With Robert
Before we move on to the freestyle dances, Robert joins the Top 3 at the house for some chit-chat. They talk about what this experience has meant to them.
Selena wants to be a representative of someone she never saw dancing. Adele talked about wearing a brace as a child or she could never dance again. AJ talks about growing up poor and why he did “Strictly Come Dancing.”
Selena & Adam – Freestyle Dance
She said they are doing a gritty, contemporary, jazz fusion. She wants to make this like art. Adam said Selena has helped him so much. How she has dealt with the stress, he said, she’s already one of the pros. This was amazing. I loved this routine. She is good and they were good together.
Judges’ Feedback: Mark said it started with danger. They were so connected. The amount of power they could generate. Shirley said she is in awe. Everything was synchronized. Selena, you are one of a kind. Derek said if she were a pro on “DWTS,” she would be an instant fan favorite.
AJ & Charli – Freestyle Dance
He tells Charli that he has been working on the emotion of the dance and not just the steps in this journey. This is supposed to be a dance of his journey on the show and what he’s learned. There was definitely a lot of content in this one. Lots of moves, and I do love that he gave her her own moment to shine. I am impressed. He seemed to be having fun, which I liked to see.
Judges’ Feedback: Shirley said he went big on this one. He jam-packed this routine. Derek said it had it all. It was so, so good. You challenged Charli, and she was fantastic. To have him as a pro on the show, we would be lucky. Mark said this shows how good he is.
Adele & Nev – Freestyle
Adele said she is a hardcore introvert in a house full of 12 people. She said she is a different dancer now, and she’s so grateful. Nev said he didn’t win the Mirrorball Trophy before, so he doesn’t want to be the reason Adele doesn’t win this.
I didn’t like the start of this one, as it was all about Adele. They are supposed to be shining a light on the Star and not on themselves. Mind you, she is amazing, and all eyes are always on her, regardless of who she is dancing with! This was an awesome routine.
Judges’ Feedback: Derek said that the dance was on fire. It was powerful, controlled, and intense. Mark said he loved the choice of style with this. It was really captivating to watch. Shirley said she believes in making her partners work hard. Two excellent dances from her today.
Results on ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’
The judges have discussed the dancers. The dancers are back on the dance floor. Shirley said this was a very difficult competition. The judges have confirmed, and the results are:
- Winner – Adele
- Second Place – AJ
- Third Place – Selena
