We have made it to the “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” finale tonight on ABC. The remaining contestants will have one more night to show the judges they deserve to be named the winner of “DWTS: The Next Pro.” We are going to see some more familiar faces in the ballroom tonight, as these finalists compete to be named a pro dancer for Season 35 of “Dancing With the Stars.” Two rounds of dances, but only one can be named the winner. Finals on ‘Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro’ 2026
For tonight’s finale, we will have two-time Mirrorball Champion Witney Carson serving as co-host with Robert Irwin. Then Derek Hough will serve as guest judge for the week. This week’s episode is titled “The Final Step: Finale with Derek Hough and Witney Carson.”
The synopsis for this week’s episode: “The final three perform with former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ finalists Charli D’Amelio, Nev Schulman, and Adam Rippon to win the title of ‘Next Pro.’ Witney Carson will serve as co-host with Robert Irwin, and Derek Hough will guest judge.”
Dance Details For the ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’ Finale
These dancers are competing to be named a pro dancer on the show. They will land a spot as one of the pro dancers for Season 35 this fall.
Just like every finals on “DWTS,” the couples will be performing twice. Each of the finalists (AJ Pritchard, Adele Zaikman, and Selena Hamilton) will be paired with a finalist from another season of the show.
We are down to the final three dancers. For tonight, the couples will be performing a new ballroom routine. Then, we have the infamous freestyle routines.
ABC has given us some “DWTS: The Next Pro” spoilers with the pairings, the dance styles they are assigned, and the songs they’ll be performing to. The synopsis said there will be two semifinal rounds. One round is with one of the pro dancers:
- Adele – Partnered with Nev Schulman. They will be dancing a Samba to “Bun Up The Dance” by Dillon Francis and Skillrex.
- AJ – Partnered with Charli D’Amelio. They will be dancing a Viennese Waltz to “Golden Hour” by JVKE.
- Selena – Partnered with Adam Rippon. They will be performing a Jive to “Candyman” by Christina Aguilera.
The second round will be the freestyle routines:
- Adele – They will be dancing a Freestyle to “Natural” by Imagine Dragons.
- AJ – They will be dancing a Freestyle to “Bad Man” by Pitbull featuring Robin Thicke, Joe Perry, & Travis Barker.
- Selena – They will be dancing a Freestyle to “Cry Me a River” by Justin Timberlake.
Of course, the judges will give their feedback, and then the strongest dancer will be named the winner!
Last Week’s Episode
For Week 7, we had Kym Johnson in the house. The final four dancers would be faced with partnering with some “DWTS” pro dancers for a routine they had complete control over. Then, the dancers would be dancing with each other one final time.
All of the dancers had standout nights, which made it extra difficult for the judges to send one of them home. However, one of them had to go home, and this time it was Allen eliminated.
